I don't necessarily hate it, its more like I don't get it. I see them more as friends, good buddies or even rarely friends with benefits. I feel the trio will contain mostly manipulation and idk I sense a lack of chemistry between them as a romantic trio, but as a friendship, that is more more interesting to me, especially they know the corrupt system and how they have to participate because they know the half-truth, if they like it or not. (I like to the other three later on)

Why is Goku or Whis being betrayed scenario is popular? I personally don't get it, why betrayal and being trapped somewhere is appealing, is it the narrative? is it the memes?
