i was thinking about the new album and the me! music video and… these are my theories and thoughts about ts7:

as she said, reputation is about finding real love and real friends in a world where people who don’t know her say things about her and her reputation that aren’t true; two songs that talk about real love and real friends are call it what you want and this is why we can’t have nice things which are the last two songs that she played during the reputation stadium tour.  these two performances have two things in common: the castle on the big screen and the sidewalk with stones on the ground screen. firstly, as ciwywt says ‘’my castle crumbled overnight’’, there is a castle that is totally crumbled during call it what you want, it’s dark, without lights and there are words like ‘’fake’’, ‘’snake’’, ‘’disappeared’’ on it and even the sidewalk is dark, it is deep blue. but then, as tiwwchnt starts, everything is brighter, full of colors and the castle is no longer crumbled, see it?

so the reputation era ends with the last show of the reputation stadium tour in tokyo and she said something really important: ‘’i feel like i started one person and at this point am a different one and that’s because of you’’ and then of course, with the line ‘’and in the death of her reputation she felt truly alive’’.

during the lasts interviews, she said that she started working on ts7 immediately after the reputation stadium tour and in the last period she changed her instagram aesthetic from dark to light. so the new era starts with the first single of ts7, me!, and its music video. in the first scene of the music video, there is a pastel pink and white snake that has the same color as taylor’s eyes (… that snake is obviously taylor c’mon) and it is slithering on a sidewalk with pastel stones that is the same as the one she used during the last two performances of the rep tour, see it?

it’s like… she is coming from the rep tour. so the snake explodes and releases a kaleidoscope of butterflies and i think that it might represents the transition between her reputation and her true self, so yes i think that the first scene of the me! music video it might represent the transition of these two eras and the lines ‘’and in the death of her reputation she felt truly alive’’ & ‘’i feel like i started one person and at this point am a different one and that’s because of you’’. so I think that ts7 is not about finding real love and real friends as in reputation but… the big story of the new album is about finding the real you and loving you, and maybe she does this retracing her steps, childhood memories, (thirteen years of her career) and so it could have a a nostalgic theme to get to where she is now, to her happiest moment ( and if we helped her finding herself again… I guess that maybe we could have a long live 2.0 ).

as the butterflies fly away, one of them flies to taylor but can’t reach her because the window is closed. so the scene goes from the outside to inside their home and the color scheme is totally different… the colors are darker, taylor and brendon are fighting, there is a christmas tree that that brings us to her childhood memories, her home and so a nostalgic theme, and also their clothes are different from the ones that they wear after, just look:

then she leaves him alone and we are in the thunderstorm scene in which there are 13 clouds and… it’s not so comforting. IN FACT… she sings “i know that i went psycho on the phone” while she is about to pick up the phone but the last time she did it we know what happened… “i’m sorry but the old taylor can’t come to the phone right now, why? oh cause she’s dead”, so she touches the phone but decided to not do it again and so the cloud becomes a snake that try to stop/catch her but he can’t and so there are these taylor’s shadows that try to catch her but they can’t do it either. she is in the mood ‘’i’m not gonna do it again, let me step into the daylight and let it go’’

and she did it and look at the colors theme!! she is so bright and looks so proud of herself. she is not wearing a dress, but a suit. it seems like… not only the color of their clothes changed but taylor and brendon… exchanged their clothes, in fact taylor is wearing the suit of brendon and brendon’s suit changed in a white suit with flowers on it (the same that is wearing in her white tulle skirt). this makes me think about her political opinions.

the outside is brighter and full of pastel colors and there are butterflies and rainbows everywhere… it’s like… they are in taylor’s world. at the end of video there are taylor and brendon outside the house and they are together, it’s like they are finally a team, she is dancing under the rain of colors while her Lover protects her with an umbrella. they find their own individuality and that confidence in their relationship so they are finally a team.. (she mentioned the team also in her elle us magazine in the lessons 22: ‘’I know a couple who, in the thick of a fight, say “Hey, same team.” ‘’).

maybe I’m wrong, but these are my theories!

I feel like people literally hate me bcz of my stories. They have been filled with Taylor and only Taylor the past like 13 days and even before that. But I mean like…it’s Taylor…how can you not?

TS7 ALBUM NAME THEORY

Okay so I've come up with a theory.... It's a very common one actually just for different reasons. If anyone's said it before...sorry ig. It's probably a reach but I mean, all of our theories are a reach so... 😂🤦 Yeah okay so my theory is that the album's name is "Lover" ...yeah I know. It's a very common theory but here's why I think so... *So she goes "Babydoll when it comes to a lover, I promise that you'll never find another like me" So if the album's name is Lover, "ME!" might be the only song on the album like it's kind. Bcz ME! Is about individuality and it might be the only one about individuality while the rest of the album is about love, her childhood and yeah... *"Lover" is also heard twice in the music video but only appears once (in the pink neon lights behind her If it's called lover, called it. If it not, no one heard/read/saw a thing 😂😂
