Lot's and lot's of plans have been made. Including but not limited to. 1. Kidnapping. 2. Have Vlad deemed unfit and get guardianship. 3.Bruce marries Vlad. 3.Bruce marries Vlad and then Vlad dies in an unfortunate unexplainable tragic accident.

Imagine redeemed Vlad and Danny going to a wayne gala and bickering as they do

Only their bickering just sounds really horrible to everyone around them

"At least here your parents won't kill you"

"Yeah but you might"

"Only in front of an audience"

And of course people overhear

And of course one of them is bruce adoption papers in purse wayne

Vlad gets taken aside by bruce to be threatened slightly and "hand over the guardianship and no one gets hurt"

Danny gets pulled to the side by the batkids and given a whole spiel about how they can help him and all

Until Danny starts screaming for Vlad - he sees potential for drama and he takes it - and Vlad - who also loves drama - joins in of course, jumping and sliding over tables all "Your godfather is one his way you sad and terrified child"

Jokes on them, the batkids - Jason especially, who had to be held back not to join in in the dramatics - only see this as fuel, now they need him in their family, friends or force either way

Driver Danny.

Danny goes to Gotham (you can pick why) and he's strapped for cash.

So he tries everything to keep the flickering lights on and the leaky roof over his head.

Dishwashing, pizza delivering, grocery shop Manning, beverage making, tutoring.

He does everything.

Eventually he ends up doing less then legal stuff.

Keeping a look out while a store gets robbed (didn't really feel guilty for that one, the owner was an asshole) work at the iceberg lounge.

Somehow he ends up as a gettaway driver...

Danny, the son of Jack "what's a red light?" Fenton.

He becomes the most sort after driver in Gotham.

Why wouldn't the Bats leave Danny alone? Sure he was a clone of Nightwing but that didn't mean anything. He wanted nothing to do with the Bats nor his crazy fruit loop of a creator, Slade Wilson. And all of the heroics of his past life had killed the altruistic urges he'd inherited from his template. Danny just wanted to live a quiet peaceful life. Yet the Bats just continued to pursue him. You know, now would be a really good time for his ghost powers to manifest.

Ghostwriter was in Smallville for a book signing that one of his favourite (currently alive) authors was at.

So of course he had to be there, he even had a human disguise and everything. He even told Phantom he was going on a mini vacation so that the Halfa wouldn't spoil his fun.

And fun he had.

He met his author and an another up and coming writer who was just starting out but had so much potential.

He now had five books that had just hit the shelves to add to his library.

It was a good day.

When he was about to leave the town he stumbled across a young child attempting to fly on their own.

Very badly.

At first he was confused.

Was this a newly formed ghost? If so, wouldn't the surrounding ghosts help them find their feet?

But the child didn't feel like any of his kind.

Another Halfa perhaps? No, the Ghost Zone would immediately know if another half-ghost popped into existence and they didn't feel the odd way Phantom did.

He had heard that some of the living had the ability to fly without dying first.

But where were the child's parents? Shouldn't they be supervising and assisting their first flight?

Ghostwriter winced as the child hit the ground for the eleventh time.

Surely it wouldn't hurt if he were to give some advice? Invisible of course, Phantom would be displeased if he brought outside attention to their own small town.

And with that, Ghostwriter spent his afternoon teaching a young boy how to fly safely (which was harder than normal considering the child couldn't phase through any dangerous obstacles)

At least until the boy's parents picked him up.

Ghostwriter may have also promised to visit the next day.

Clark and Louis thought that Jon having an imaginary friend was cute.

It was a little weird that the imaginary friend picked apart every piece of writing in the house, but Jon was the son of journalists so he was bound to opinions about literature.

It wasn't til Jon said "Ghosty said that dying hurts and that I shouldn't do it for a long time." That they started getting worried.

I like the idea of it being Fright Knight who comes in going "I told him! I told him this would happen! I told him not to trust the living!" While frantically looking for Danny.

I'm sure I'll send you this…. but I was more asleep than awake, so I'm not even sure I wrote it right…. That's why I'm sending it to you again….

In an AU DPxDC When the anti-ecto laws were passed, Danny and his friends got worried and argued about them at school, where they were overheard by one of their classmates who is seeking to be a lawyer and mentions that the anti-ecto laws might be in conflict with the Metas protection laws…

…well…remember all the chaos Sam and Tuker made over the Veggies vs Carnivores incident?…

Now imagine what would happen if the two work together…

In other news, the JL has learned of protests regarding a new law… what are these anti-ecto laws?… why did the government approve them?… and why did everything originate from a town that you didn't even know existed before?

JL: these are very obviously sentient life forms. *shows government a metric ton of scientific papers proving that they’re correct* (almost every paper has Jazz or Danny Fenton credited someway or another)
