Ok I Finally Have The Time, Here Are Some Of My Personal Hc/theories:
Ok i finally have the time, here are some of my personal hc/theories:
I think that all of the enemies on soul sanctum are SLIGHTLY less infected or at least more conscious than all of the other bugs infected, because of all the souls injected to them had to do something more than corrupting them. They protect A LOT the sanctum of infected bugs, either of still having that survival instinct or to protect the soul master and his experiments, why would be two (three if you consider the second soul warrior) "mini boses" before fighting the soul master?
Also, i hc that the reason why the enemies are very annoying is that they percieve the soul in your soul vessels the moment you step in the sanctum, they become obssesed/addicted again for It and want to "consume" it at all cost, hoping It would restore their bodies.
I agree with @/cousinofmycousin 's hc, i think the soul sanctum was some kind of hospital or medical university, I personally hc It was more of a medical university that also served as a hospital but to a lesser extent than a normal hospital but still frequented in the city.
When the infection started the hospital was flooded and there was really nothing to do with the patients, thats when SM starts experimenting with their souls, using the patients that were the most "sane/suitable" (whether voluntarily or not, probably not) to extract their souls, using the excuse of "they didnt survive" so that families would not suspect. Thats when lurien suspects and starts to watch over the sanctum, when SM finally tells him and the King his plans, they completely refuse to participate, the university and hospital started to decay, rumors spread, and the place turned into the soul sanctum as a "private" laboratory.
Soul Sanctum. What are y'all's thoughts, impressions, and/or headcanons about the place and the bugs within?

experimental pitbonnie doodles
He’s basically a culmination of the agony Afton created on that faithful day of June, 1985. Anything outside of that period of time does not affect him. Pitbonnie is essentially trying to mimic William, but because there isn’t much to go off of other than a murderer or a monster, he’s “incomplete” (reasoning to why his speech is garbled and acts like a beast). I feel like his voice lines are likely to what William has said in the past and he learns this through memories of the murders or William’s memories. The same thing also goes with Oswald’s dad, copying his behaviour to better fit in.
Pitbonnie is similar to the original Springbonnie suit, but I like to imagine he’s way bigger and uncanny like. Sort of comparing a rabbit to a hare lol and his tie has that dad style too :))
