Actually having a dormouse as a daemon would rock! He would constantly be somewhere on my body, a tiny ball of fur just sitting in my sleeves or on my shoulder or clinging to my back or hiding in my hair or, if we were feeling unusually brave and out-there, on top of my head. He could steal things for me. He could be my spy. He could scratch people so that they would know I’m pissed without me having to say a word and without anyone actually getting hurt. He could wake me up by jumping on my face. He could play ghost with a napkin with eye-holes in it. The possibilities are endless.
