Not to go on and on about Death Note: the Musical, but I love how the audience can see the exact moment Light's little game stops being entertaining to Ryuk. It's all fun and games until Ryuk realizes that Light really intends for Rem to write down L's name, knowing it will kill Rem, and that Rem is actually going to go through with it. After Light crosses that line, it's clear that Ryuk's dwindling patience with him is gone. I get the feeling that they'd both rather die than admit it, but Rem and Ryuk are friends, and Ryuk has made it very clear that he values the life of a single Shinigami above the lives of a million humans. Ryuk is more than happy to watch Light take human lives, but Light taking Rem's life is about a dozen steps too far for Ryuk.

Her trying to resist as she's forced to take her life and write the note. It's perfect.

I’ve seen every season of survivor multiple times. This episode sticks out in my head so much because of how awful this moment is. Varner is a terrible person. And I’m glad that everyone put away game differences in that one moment to be like “yeah fuck this guy” before Jeff shut it down and sent him home

some dude on survivor outed another survivor who happened to be trans and called it “deception” like this was some damn soap opera and everyone was like ”lmao that’s personal and not your fucking problem?” and the host immediately said “We don’t need to vote, just grab your torch” and had him kicked off. that’s some instant fucking karma.
