I feel like this is my mind
Theory Time
The reason endermen don’t like it when you look at them is because they communicate telepathically with one another by locking eyes! Humans are absolutely not designed to do this so when we look at them we are accidentally projecting all of our thoughts into them at the same time and it hurts :(
PLEASE reblog for a bigger sample size! I know everyone says this, but my blog gets very little interaction, so any reblog helps!
ok but consider this:
ghostbur is in the train station, staring at the board as he watches the messages blink by, tears steaming on his face, when he feels a warm, soft hand on his shoulder.
"rough night?" a voice asks, lilting with the music of the universe in it.
ghostbur nods, curling in on himself.
"i'm sorry." she sits next to him, a big presence that radiates safety, peace, companionship. everything ghostbur has longed for in these long, cold days. she opens her arms, in a movement that's so philza it hurts, and ghostbur tucks himself into her chest, tears soaking into her long black dress.
"they're all so- so happy," he sobs, choking on the words as they spill from his lips. "and it's so c-cold here, and i-"
"shh..." she says, a hand carding through his hair, and just like that, the pain in his soul calms, leaving him almost weightless. he feels her shift against him, looks up to see her lost in concentration, and then the station is shifting, lights flickering on, abandoned shops that had begun to rot stitching themselves back together, clouds splitting to show the stars, illuminating the platform.
and the air grows warmer.
"there," she says, satisfied. "that should help."
she's gone as quickly as she came, leaving ghostbur to explore the station, ducking into every nook and cranny now visible in the cool blue starlight.
and in another world, in a house in the arctic, philza finds a note.
"i know he's not your son, but i'm taking care of him for you.
see you next century, my love.
-kristin"

angel of death phil and goddess of death kristin is my favourite thing ever actually
[ID: A short scribbly coloured comic of Philza as his Dream SMP character and Kristin as the Goddess of Death. She is much larger than him and dressed in dark purple hues, with a dark crown and veil in front of her face; in the first panel, she is holding him in her palms and saying, “My angel, you’ve returned.” The second panel is a close-up of Phil, holding a large bouquet of flowers and laughing, saying, “Of course I did!” In the third panel, Death lets him climb on her shoulder as he says, “I missed you.” In the last panel, he is sitting on her shoulder and lifting up the veil that’s in front of her face to kiss her on the cheek. She is saying, “I’ve missed you too!” and grinning. There is a heart-shaped sound effect going “Mwah!” End ID.]
So, India is dying.
Look, I know a good number of you are from the US and things aren't amazing there either, but my country is literally on the brink of collapse. So I'd love it if we could talk about that for a minute.
If you can't do anything else, please just read and reblog.
A second COVID wave has taken out the healthcare system. There are no more hospital beds. There's an oxygen shortage. There's a critical vaccine shortage. The Central Government has thrown its hands up and is passing the baton to the State Governments to do what they can.
There are over 16 million covid cases. A record 330,000 new cases reported yesterday - comparable to the US at its peak. 187,000 dead as of today.
There is no plan.
Mass cremations are taking place. The cremation grounds are running day and night and they are short on wood. People are watching their loved ones die while waiting for a hospital bed, and then they're unable to give them the proper burial rights.

Hospitals are overwhelmed. Patients are being confined, two to a bed. They're the lucky ones.

We are on the verge of people dying in the streets.
This is the second-most populous country in the world. The largest democracy. A country that encapsulates over 15,000 years of recorded human history and has endured everything from famine to invasion to colonisation.
We might be at the end. This might be the thing that does us in.
People are dying.

People are dying.

People are dying and there is no plan.

More good news? Variants are popping up. A double mutation strain has shown up. It is resistant to current vaccines. This will not go away. This is the devastation they warned of when the anti-maskers were out protesting the minor inconvenience of covering their face in public.
My country is on the verge of an emergency state. Our government has failed us. This is as dire a situation as it ever could be.
Look. I don't do much with my life. I write fics, some of you have read them and that's pretty much it. I spend my days with my head in the clouds because that's where I like to be.
But two days ago, my grandmother tested positive, had to be taken to hospital and the ambulance caught fire.
She barely made it to the urgent care she needs.
So, here I am, using whatever meager platform I have to cobble this request together. Because I have to do something.
If you can, donate.
Or spread the word.
Help. Please.
