i wont give a sneak peek bc HELLA spoilers. theres just like, a lot of moments. i'll give two (vaguely summarized) examples

one - you have a breakdown because of a big thing that gets revealed about someone you care about. so you're crying. and taehyung is wiping away your tears, which is unlike him bc he resents you. for most of the chapter he's an asshole to you. but now hes literally swiping away each tear from your face

finally you get annoyed and ask him to just get you a tissue. he refuses

"you owe me these tears" "no matter how hard you cry, it'll never even be close to how much i cried for you"

two - now, keep in mind that 10 years of isolation means that taehyung is TOUCH STARVED. after some shit goes down, you're a little drunk and the two of you are in the limo going back to the house

and you're staring out at the stars, and then turn to see him. ofc, bc you guys were just at the casino, tae is suited up. he looks GOOD. you touch his face, cup his cheek

he leans into your touch, he cant even help it. you caress his hair, your eyes meeting, his fluttering shut because it just feels so good to be touched

finally you pull your hand away until he grabs your wrist. he stares at you. his eyes dont leave yours. he kisses the inside of your wrist. softly, carefully, his touch is always so light with you

you gasp bc something about it feels so fucking good. he leans into you, not touching you but his lips so close behind your ear and he whispers something. again, no touching, but he lingers, and you cant breathe, and he's so close and he smells so good

and then he parts from you. and you're both silent the whole ride home

to be fair, he also does try to kill you a few times. so he is still scary. but yea <3
