It is, you’ve decided, a beautiful day. A wonderful, gorgeous day that you never want to forget. You want to swish watercolors across paper and capture the blue of the clouds, the green of the trees–though paint could never capture the way the sun warms your skin.

Of course, any day would be beautiful to you, even a gloomy overcast one, considering the fact that this is the first time you’ve been outside in about 7 months. The first time in so long that you’ve been able to greedily breathe in fresh air, enjoyed soft grass tickling your ankles. The first time in so, so long you’d heard birds that weren’t dimmed by walls or blocked by soundproofing.

Tomura didn’t want to let you outside, and as you two sat on top of a grassy hill (which you deemed the perfect picnic spot) you knew he still wasn’t keen on the idea. You glance sideways to see him grimacing, muttering something under his breath about wasting time and hating bugs. 

He’d only taken a few bites of the food you had packed. Well, the food he had picked up from a gas station and you had carefully packed in a picnic kit that someone purloined for Tomura.

You decide to pay him and his attitude no mind. If he wants to be grumpy little gremlin on a day like this, well–let him.
