Some Vash sketches! I liked the idea of the regular Plant wings functioning as a protective layer (like some flower bracts or beetles' elytra) over the dark-matter-y wing he has in the Julai fight.

from there, I was exploring the idea of plant "fasciation" (an irl growth mutation that can cause a flower head to stretch out and grow weird rows of petals instead) and how that might look with the Plant wings/frills
