Had this theory that Atlas was supposed to kill Mordecai on the train that day. I believe when Mordecai stole that money he robbed from Atlas.

In the flashback of them on the train, when serafine said, "Like he been watching all de time, cause he was," was her stating he knew of Mordecai robbing him.

What Atlas probably didn't expect was some kid in rags for clothing in knee-high pants who stole from him.

Besides offing Mordecai he left the gun behind.

The other men probably knew Atlas and probably worked for him, too.

Mordecai probably did kill them with Atlas's gun.

I don't take Atlas as this sweet, kind, caring boss if you didn't matter to him. Well, you where disposable. Seeing as Mordecai being smart to fool Atlas for so long, robbed him a good sum of money and being able to kill. Atlas took Mordecai in because he was very useful.

Mordecai and Atlas would have this messed up father/son bond.

Mordecai really looked up to Atlas I can see him mirroring him.

Doing anything for Atlas.

I don't think Mordecai knows what Atlas had planned that day on the train.

I don't think Mordecai knows he was mainly a weapon at Atlas disposal.

Wanting to be wanted and useful at everything for Atlas. That faded out over time as Atlas found Mitzi and was much closer with her than him. That made Mordecai bitter and sour about Atlas's and Mitzi's marriage. Always fighting for Atlas's attention.

I have a feeling when Serafine brought up his past like that, not did it scare Mordecai. You can see the guilt on his face.

Like Mordecai truly cared for Atlas, the thing is, did Atlas ever truly care for Mordecai, and would he have gone on a man hunt if Mordecai was killed? I think that's the saddest thing to think of because, more likely not. Mordecai is losing everything and risking it all for a dead man who wouldn't have done the same thing for him.

I'm sure there will be more things about their relationship in the comic as it continues.

Just every time someone brings up Mordecai's past with Atlas and Viktor, you can see him look away. That pain of guilt laying heavily inside his heart.

But before he turns it into a Joke, I think he was being deadly serious about Mordecai being stupid for getting his arm broken the way he did, making a more sour expression as he says it

Because the reason Mordecai broke that arm was because he ran ahead of Viktor when they were out on the job, rushing up the stairs by himself and subsequently catching a shotgun blast.

Only saved by using a case full of money to shield himself. Otherwise, that would most likely have been the end for him.

Viktor most likely thinks this young guy is trying so hard to prove himself. That he isn't that weak scared desperate stray that Atlas found on that train and wants to prove to his boss, and maybe Viktor too, that he is strong and capable in his work.

A stupid wreckless attitude as far as Viktor is concerned. How many people did he see die in the war because they wanted to look tough? He should have cleared the bottom floor with Viktor first so he could watch his back

Viktor was quick to check in with his partner and then tell him to do the sensible thing and get out

Though we know this was said out of genuine concern, Viktor having just after this recovered Mordecai's missing pince-nez from the ruined stairs and given them back once they were safely outside the burning down building

Though if we asked Mordecai, he might argue that if he hadn't been upstairs he wouldn't have seen that thug trying to sneak up and shoot Viktor while he was distracted fighting.

That he wouldn't have been able to watch his back.

I would like to ask if I can request a blurb/hc of Wick taking care of a sick reader?

Or Zib teasing the reader (shorter than him) about their height which makes the reader upset and then Zib having to appease them? - i hope it makes sense😭

Also I wanted to add - please don't overwork nor rush yourself, get some proper rest and take care!

<Wick taking care of a sick reader>

"Love?"

Stepping into the room, Wick frowned as he looked you over. He hated seeing you like this, all bundled up between the blankets. Hearing your coughs, seeing your body shake.

Stepping close, he flinched at your cough as he sat next to you. Rubbing your back gently, he brushed a stay curl aside as you weakly looked up at him.

"I'm sorry Wick." Coughing, you looked up at him as you gave him a weak smile. "I'm sorry you had to cancel our date night."

Shaking his head, Wick smiled as he bent down giving the top pf your head a gentle kiss. "Never apologize love....I'd rather spend time with you....now I know the perfect thing to make you feel better. My grandmas famous recipe!" He beamed.

Letting out a weak laugh, you did your best to hide your cough as Wick covered your body with another blanket. "Get some rest dove, I'll bring you the food and you'll be better in know time."

Sitting by your side, Wick made sure that you were comfortable. He set a bath for you and while you were cleaning yourself he changed out the sheets for fresh ones. He even went as far as to carry you back to the bed.

"What if you get sick Sedgewick?" You weakly looked up at him, your ears flattened on your head, tail twitching as he moved to lay next to you.

"Then I will take that risk." He muttered kissing the top of your head. "Now get some sleep, rest is very important in getting better."

Letting out a soft laugh you nuzzled your face into his chest. "Okay, but I'm only doing this for you."

<Zib teasing short reader>

"That short enough for ya....I mean...you sure you can reach it?" ​Dorian Zibowski or Zib as everyone called him teased you as he hovered ofer your short frame.

"I can help ya of you like." The cigaret dangled from the corner of his mouth.

Puffing out your cheeks, your fur bristled as you tugged the mic close to you. "How very kind of you Zib but I'm fine! Maybe you should worry about not hacking up a lung on our next performance."

A deep chuckle left his lips as he took a step towards you. Grasping your chin he gave you a teasing grin bending down, his head pressing yours as his hat pushed up. "I keep forgettin how cute you are when you get all flustered."

"Zib!"

Humming, Zib put out the cigaret as he then placed his hat on your head. "You weren't complanin last night though. Gotta say you looked really good wearin my shirt."

Feeling your body grow warm, you turned your back to him. "You....shut up!"
