Look, I’m not going to pretend I haven’t streamed Olivia’s music, because I have. The music is catchy and well done.

But, I can still say that I have no respect for how she handled things. Joshua says it in his own music- he got death threats, and she stood by and did nothing. Now we find out that she was the one who actually ended things and he has tried to talk to her since “Driver’s License” and she won’t talk to him, despite them working together on the same show (the second half was from his gq interview).

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- Joshua Bassett is a class act. Honestly. His label was pushing him to release his musical response and he refused to until he was ready AND had put a disclaimer out about not showing hate towards anyone. He continued to do his best to make jokes about it, stay positive, and just focus on his own health and everyone’s talents. And now that he’s finally releasing his side, he’s dedicating his proceeds to mental health organizations.

His music also states that, despite everything, he still cares for her, but he’s letting go for his own self and health.

I just. I’m so proud of him as a person.

No one will ever do it like you. You will forever be one of the drivers that i love the most and that the people love the most, you will always be the driver that thousands look up to, and you will always be the driver that inspires everyone to be their best. I’m happy with your decision as long as you’re comfortable and happy, and you’re right, there’s a life off-track and i know you will enjoy it. You’ve had an amazing journey in Formula 1 and it’s been amazing to keep up with you. Good luck Seb, we love and appreciate you❤️.

It's crazy to think about that Lando is going through all the normal things everybody is going at some point in their life- but most of us don't have to deal with thousands of people who tear apart every little thing in our private life. We all had our time and privacy to deal with all the phases and to evolve.

So, you're abusing a young adult who is still exploring his identity but at the same time expect from him to be always perfect and to have a healthy attitude toward everything and everybody- or else you abuse him again for not doing so. Something in this is seriously wrong, don't you think?
