oh godddd this is tough..... i mean. i'm very clearly biased towards non human characters so gillion is definitely up there... plus he's so autistic coded and a bit of a himbo.... and he's a fish and i really like fishes............. but like, chip has a very interesting story and he's developing and showing his emotions in very interesting ways, and i feel for him. he's a bastard and a clown but he's charming and caring... and jay is so cool and interesting because she seems like the only voice of reason in the group but then she does something crazy insane and you realize that she's as unhinged as the other two if not more.... and she also has some intriguing things in her backstory and im sad it doesn't get mentioned as often as chip's u_u

so um. i like them all so much and they're like "frequently bought together. do not separate", in a sense that their chemistry and interactions are so endearing and wholesome and heartbreaking sometimes that if you remove one of them it shatters the whole thing. and as much as i enjoy story and plot I wish we could get more moments of them just goofing around on the ship or at least talking to each other normally and not about their new destination.... so i can't really pick a favorite
