Headcanon: Cole didn't drop out of dance school because he couldn't dance (see: Triple Tiger Sashay) or didn't like dancing (see: multiple instances of spontaneous dancing) or couldn't take the rigorous training (he's a ninja).
I think he dropped out of dance school after just one day because he couldn't see the point of training so hard just to perform for others' entertainment. He wanted his efforts to pay off in helping others, and to stand up against those who were cruel and unjust.
