have i seen much, if any, of vox machina? no. am i watching the three episodes of the animated series and falling headfirst into polymachina? oh, absolutely. even beforehand i had a soft spot for anything with pike and pike/percy/vex? oh, my heart belongs to them.

so i’m knee-deep in tuc chapter 2 and just. god. i swear i nearly had a panic attack during the court room scene. i could barely breathe. my heart was pounding i had CHEST PAINS it was so intense and such a beautiful moment of story telling and it still makes me giddy to think about it. sofia lee my love. she’s so beautiful and so strong and emily plays her beautifully. you can tell how much she feels for sofia, how much she embodies her. the episode where she takes the pregnancy test and is crying is so moving. it’s so beautiful. emily has a lot of empathy, i think, and you can really see it in sofia.
