Brushes And Beats chapter 16
pairing: JiminxReader
genre: fluff with a pinch of angst
trope: enemies to lovers

"Hi Yoongi"
Nervousness filled my gut as I stood outside his house, I could totally see the confusion in Yoongi's eyes when he opened the door and found me standing there, nerves turning my voice into a barely audible whisper
âHey,â he says, treading carefully. His voice is different. It's much more grown now, lacking the usual sharpness and indifference that marked his character. He surveys me for a moment before a small smile tugs at the corners of his lips."Long time no see," he says as if trying to break the ice. With a deep breath, I mustered up the courage to look him in the eye and reply, "Yeah, it's been a while. How have you been?"
"Why don't you come inside?" he offers gesturing towards his living room. I lose his gaze as my eyes travel around the room. I take in his home. A home I never expected to see him in. We both stand in silence for a whole minute.
âItâs good to see you,â I tell him. Our voices are weak and timid. Itâs weird, seeing someone for the first time under different circumstances from when you parted.
But as awkward as it was, there was also something strangely comforting about being in his presence again. It's funny how life takes unexpected turns sometimes, isn't it? As I sat on his couch, taking in the familiar surroundings and the scent of his cologne lingering in the air, memories flooded back to me. My eyes found his collection of Vinyle records sitting carefully on the shelf nearby, a testament to the passion he has for music, beside it there was a photo frame,
He is married
Surprisingly the information didn't sting at all, I felt happy for him, "Sorry for intruding like this, I-" I trailed off, unsure of how to continue. Yoongi interrupts with a gentle smile "No need to apologize" He establishes a sense of ease and comfort in the room as he brought a glass of water for me and sat across me. "Where is umm?" realizing my question he replied "OH Julianne is at her mom's house...yeah"
"Yoongi I...I don't know how to say this, I need to get something off my chest I-" I took a deep breath and looked directly into his eyes "Why did you do it?"
"Why did you cheat on me?"
Yoongi's expression changes, his smile fading as he sighs and looks down for a bit Yoongi's expression shifts from surprise to remorse as he takes a moment to collect his thoughts. With a heavy sigh and a pained look in his eyes, Yoongi leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees. "I never wanted to hurt you," he says softly, his words laced with regret. "I know what I did was wrong, and there are no excuses for my actions," Yoongi continues. "But Y/n do you remember how you were with me?" he asks, his voice filled with vulnerability.
"I do" I replied as I lowered my gaze, memories of our tumultuous relationship resurfacing. I remember the fights, the late-night arguments, and the constant feeling of insecurity that lingered between us. It was a toxic cycle that seemed impossible to break free from,
"You always made me feel like I wasn't enough," Yoongi confesses quietly. "I know that doesn't justify what I did, but I want you to understand that it wasn't just about you or our relationship." Yoongi's response took me by surprise and I felt anger and confusion bubbling inside of me
"What? What do you mean it wasn't just about me or our relationship?" Yoongi's gaze meets mine, and he takes a deep breath before speaking. "It was about me too" he continues "It takes two to tango, and just as I was toxic for you in the relationship, you were toxic for me as well." his tone rises as he tries to convey his feelings "Did you never realized that I was struggling too? No right? Because you never cared what the other person was feeling, the only thing that mattered to you was you" my heart pounded with fury as I spoke "What about you then? Did you ever consider what I was going through during those difficult times?" Tears welled up in my eyes as I fought to keep my composure. "You were so selfish with your actions and words that it made it impossible for me to see beyond my pain, and because of this nature of yours LOOk what has become of us now?" he stood up from his sit and began pacing back and forth replying
"Because of me?! It was you who always played the victim card! and it was also you who was hellbound on coming to Seoul, I left my house my city EVERYTHING AND CAME HERE WITH YOU"
"If in my place it was you who got the offers from entertainment companies I would have come with you too! Normal couples support each other in their dreams!" I got up from my sit as well.
"Support?! What support are you talking about?! I left my life back there and came here with you!!! How much more support do you want?!"
Our voices grew louder with emotions running high
"There are also duties you need to fulfill Yoongi, and even then when you used to remind me of you leaving everything behind for me, did you not think of how it made me feel?" I could see the flicker of hurt in his eyes " Whenever something good happened in my career I always wanted you to be the first to know and celebrate with you" taking a deep breath " But I never could because you were never happy for me. It was like instead of feeling happy I felt guilty for achieving something"
"Shut up Y/n, dont speak nonsense"
"IT'S THE TRUTH...did you ever tell me the Y/n I am proud of you? these are the type of word you say to one another you love!" our argument began to escalate with each word that was exchanged
"You knew that I was suffocating here in Seoul Did you do anything? DID YOU?! The only thing you cared about was your carrier and your own success" My heart sank as I watched his face turn red.
"Was I only earning for myself?! HUH?! I WAS EARNING FOR BOTH OF US! For our future I always tried to make time, on our fourth anniversary I ASKED YOU TO MARRY ME BUT YOU TURNED ME DOWN" I yelled and pushed him back
"YES, I TURNED YOU DOWN because I wasn't ready and I didn't want to run the house with your money!"
"There you go again with your male ego!"
"WHAT MALE EGO Y/n?! If I wanted to earn enough money to provide for you HOW WAS THAT MALE EGO?! Every man in this world wants to provide for his family! WAS IT WRONG FOR ME TO WANT IT AS WELL?!"
"So was it my fault that you couldn't earn success?!"
He started to point at me, with anger and frustration in his voice
"This thing that you are doing right now always made me realize I was such a failure. You never left a chance to make me feel small and show that you were always better than me!"
"Yes, you are a failure! and so am I! Look at us Yoongi, I failed as a girlfriend you failed as a boyfriend Now we both are failing to maintain peace EVEN AFTER TWO YEARS OF NOT SEEING EACH OTHER"
Silence hung heavy as our words pierced the air and lingered between us, we both sat back down with tears streaming down our faces as the weight of our past mistakes and unresolved emotions hit us like a tidal wave. After a few moments of quiet reflection and tearful self-realization, we both took a deep breath and looked at each other with a newfound understanding in our eyes.
"I am sorry Y/n"
"I'm sorry too Yoongi," I whispered as I wiped off a stray tear, "I never meant to make you feel like a failure" Yoongi's expression softened as he reached out to take my hand and gently squeezed it as a gesture of forgiveness and reconciliation, reaffirming our bond.
I began to comprehend the depth of our past issues. The piercing words and strong emotions unloaded a new perspective - the silent suffering Yoongi endured in our relationship, and the painful truth: I was part of the cause. All the while I had been viewing our past through my lens of pain, blissfully ignorant of the damage my behavior had been causing.
Yoongi's confession about feeling inadequate hit me like a slap. I never meant to make him feel that way, but I did. I realized that both of us contributed to the toxicity of our relationship, it wasn't just him or his wrong-doings. My insecurities and ambitions had, unfortunately, overshadowed his feelings.
It was a punch in the gut to discover how lonely and suffocated he felt in Seoul - a city that represented a dream for me but was a nightmare for him. The fact that he felt lost while I was too engrossed in my own success was a bitter pill to swallow.
This confrontation was a turning point. It dawned on me that true love is built on mutual respect, understanding, and support. It had never been a competition; it was supposed to be a partnership where we would be each other's cheerleaders.
Gaining this understanding, although late, made me realize that acknowledging one's mistakes is the first step towards healing. Even if we couldn't fix our relationship, we could at least seek closure and grow individually from this experience.
"I'll drop you home." Yoongi offered, his voice laced with sincerity and genuine concern. I nodded walking towards his car.

What a night it had been
I feel so tired but also strangely exhilarated, it's like I finally found peace within myself. Lying on my bed, reflecting on the events of the evening, I could help but feel relief washing over me like a gentle breeze on a warm summer night.
As the moonlight crept into my room, casting a soft glow around, my mind started traveling to the gentle soul who had unwittingly captured my heart - Park Jimin. The mere thought of him ignited a feeling within me that was both terrifying, yet thrilling. My heart beat faster, creating a symphony that only resonated - Jimin.
There was a warmth in my chest whenever I thought of him. His face, painted with a smile that could rival the sun, his laughter that sounded more melodious than the most beautiful symphony, he became my source of joy.
But, with these feelings came a pang of emotion I was less familiar with - jealousy. The sight of him escorting his gorgeous date today was etched into my memory. My heart clenched as I saw how his eyes glistened with admiration when he looked at her. Yet, I couldn't ignore it - deep down it hurt, as though someone was twisting a knife directly into my heart.
Despite the unease, I would find myself helplessly pulled towards him like a moth to flame, whenever he was around. The sound of his voice calling my name, his gentle touch when he'd brush a strand of hair from my face, or simply his presence nearby, would spread an overwhelming sense of completeness within me.
Every time he was around me - his warmth, his scent and his closeness, they breathed love into my world, making me yearn for something more than just friendship. Tonight, laying here, soaking in the solitude, I couldn't help but envelop myself with thoughts of him.
I felt enveloped by a sense of peace and happiness - a feeling I hadn't experienced in a long time.
I buried these feelings deep inside my heart, tucking them safely away, waiting for the right moment to confess. 'Soon,' I promised myself, cocooned in the warmth of my feelings for him, my mind painting pictures of happier times that I hoped lay not too far in our future.

Masterlist, Prologue
He didnât believe that you were gone no matter what anyone said.
Everyone was saying the same thing. You were gone and there was nothing anyone could do to bring you back. However, Min Yoongi didnât like their answer and anyone who said that you had already passed on from this earth was met with his wrath that was communicated through his fists and weapons. No one could even tell him that he now couldnât physically follow where you were. In his twisted mind, he thought that he could follow you because you never left this earth. Of course, he could follow. You did promise, after all, that you would never go somewhere where he couldnât fucking follow. His angel would never lie to him, he thought. But your absence was saying otherwise. Your absence was too loud.
The days following the moment he opened his eyes and learned of your demise were bloody and dark. Everyone was on edge, and the traitors went to hell here on earth. They did wish they had died instead, but death was never quick when it came to them, nor was it painless. Min Yoongi made sure that they felt every ounce of pain he felt when you were taken away from him. His brothers could not even reason with the man. They didnât know how to handle this Min Yoongi. It was as though he died there with you, and what was left of him was only his darkness. Agustd was already ruthless, but now he was just outright cruel, burning everything and everyone that crossed his path.
No one could even say their piece to him-well, all except Kim Seokjin. Despite Jin choosing the less violent life and despite him spending his days treating people in the hospital, no one could deny the power he naturally excluded. It was the power that was inherent to him when he was unfortunate enough to be born to a father that was the previous mafia king. Kim Seokjin may possessed the face of an angel, but he was the most dangerous of them all. It was just that he had a patience of a saint, and everyone fret the day someone snapped his patience. He was a dangerous, eccentric man. And he was a ticking time bomb in comparison to Taehyung who just kept on exploding without an end in sight. Min Yoongi, though, was known to be a reasonable man, his calm nature was never broken. It took losing you to break the calmness in him. The days after he woke up, he was seen back where he was the happiest. Day after day, Yoongi could be found there, leaning against the tree with cigarette in between his lips as he looked at the ruins of your house. The fire took everything from him. It was angry as it smoldered what once was his latibule to the ground, leaving nothing but ashes in its wake. Yoongi thought that the world was simply too cruel to him to strip away the only place he had of you. He couldnât even smell you anymore, couldnât even go to the place that was full of your presence.
How cruel was it to have you once and never again? How cruel was it for him to finally have found the warmth, to finally have basked in it for a moment too short, only for him to live in a winter forever after you? He would never admit to anyone that each time he closed his eyes, the only thing he saw was the moment you fell as the bullet pierced your skin. So, he had not been sleeping well. If you were here, he thought, you would chase away all the demons in his head. If you were here, you would put your arms around him, rub your hands on his shoulder in a soothing way only you knew how, and you would silently tell him that everything would be okay, that he wasnât as bad as he thought he was. Yoongi couldnât do anything. All he did was to go to the place where he found and lost you.
He was always there, Jimin noted. He made this place your temple, mural and shrine. However, never once did he visit where you were finally laid to rest. Never once did he even acknowledge your death. It was like not seeing it would make your death untrue. And so, day after day, hour after hour, the man could be found there as though he was waiting on a miracle, as though if he waited long enough then you would return, as though if he stayed long enough, you would walk back and smile at him, all while calling him a fool for looking too sad.
But you never did. Â
And after a whole year, Min Yoongi never uttered your name again.
---
âY-youâre supposed to be the good one! W-what is the Chief of Police doing here?!â
Yoongi watched in boredom as Jungkook pushed a man to kneel in front of him. The warehouse was quiet, well, save for the screaming of the traitors. The other brothers were busy with torturing the remaining traitors they kept alive. And today, he was faced with the last remaining traitor they had yet to kill. See, this asshole was so below the rank that he didnât know that the Chief of Police was also the same Agustd, the leader of the mafia.
He was nothing, Yoongi thought. And yet, he was the one who blew up your house. He could almost laugh if he still knew how. Â âT-the public will know! Iâll tell them that youâre the d-devil!â
Yoongi blew the smoke on his face emotionlessly, a strand of his dark hair falling on his face. âYouâre not an intelligent man, are you?â he asked evenly before pulling the cigarette in between his lips and onto the idiotâs eyelid. He heeded his screams no mind as he removed his jacket with his badge on it. Someone from his right stepped in to carefully fold his jacket. Yoongi folded his sleeves to his elbows and without any warning, punched the man on his face.
The man proved to be an even greater fool as he laughed in false bravado, blood a stark contrast against his crooked teeth, âIs that all you can do? You donât have it in you to kill. Youâre a civil servant!â
âIs that so?â he asked in a conversational tone as he picked up a knife, putting it up over the light to inspect it before turning to the buffoon. âWhich hand burned the house?â
âWhat?â
Yoongi looked at Jungkook and the latter manhandled the man near the table, flatting both his hand on it. âWhich hand should I cut?â He walked nearer to them as though he had all the time in the world. âThis one,â he stabbed the table, missing the manâs hand by a centimeter. âOr this one?â he repeated the action for the right hand, except that this time he intentionally stabbed the knife through his thumb, severely cutting it. âOh no,â he said in a deadpanned voice before looking directly at him. âGuess my aim got bad.â
âW-who are y-you?!â
He smiled at him; his eyes remained emotionless. âHi, Iâm Agustd. Nice to meet you. So which hand?â
âN-No! No, please! Iâll give you what you want-â
Yoongi sighed, already losing his patience. âYou do have to choose. We wonât stop until you only have one hand. Or do you want me to choose?â
âL-lef-â
Before the traitor could even finish sputtering what Yoongi deemed was bullshit, he buried the hilt of the knife into his hand. He didnât even blink when he felt resistance from his bones, Yoongi merely kept on pushing, uncaring of the wailing man. He never stopped until he the knife finally touched the surface of the table.
And after that, he stabbed his hand again. He never ceased, not until the hand was completely mutilated. He never stopped, not even when the blood kept sputtering on his face from the manâs open wound, a stark contrast on his pale white complexion. He never stopped even when the man lost consciousness.
âHeâs going to die, Yoongi,â Seokjin noted lightly from his seat. From outside looking in, he looked like a perfect image of peace, yet the hold he had on his phone was a telltale sign that he was far from pleased. He was not even phased by the violence around him, his focus merely on the whereabouts of his runaway sunshine. âI do not have the patience required to revive a dying man tonight.â
Yoongi paused, leering at the man who was slipping in and out of consciousness, before heeding his hyungâs statement. He did not want to test Jinâs patience tonight when it was apparent that he was barely holding on to his control.
He didnât want to kill this man tonight. No. He planned on keeping him alive for years and years to come. He planned to give him hope, only for him to squash it away like he did his. As long as Yoongi shall live, then he shall suffer with him. As long as he was living in this fucked-up nightmare where you werenât by his side, then so should he lived his very own crafted nightmare.
If he wasnât happy, then why should anyone be?
---
âThat phone looks like it wants to rest,â Jimin observed lightly as he and his hyung visited another crime scene that was definitely not because of them. It was three hours away from Seoul, the travel time giving him headache, similar to what Jimin was giving him. He watched as Yoongi ended the call before glaring at him.
âWhat about my phone, Jimin?â
âIt looks like it wants to retire. Please, for the love of all thatâs good, let me buy you a phone.â
âNo.â It was the only thing he had of you.
âWhyyyyy do you love that phone so much, hyung? Our enemies would think our business is not doing good that you cannot even buy yourself a phone!â
Yoongi just shrugged his broad shoulders before walking out of the police line and through the busy market. He nodded at the policemen as they acknowledged him. His watchful eyes observed the chipper attitude of the marketgoers, chatting among themselves. He wondered how people could wake up this early and yet looked so alive. He hadnât felt alive since that night. However, he thought that had you been here, it wouldnât matter. Nothing would. He would wake up at an ungodly hour for you.
He could hear Jimin chatter beside him as they navigated their way out of the busy street when it happened. Until it all turned into a white noise when it happened.
When he saw you.
He halted his brisk walk, his eyes following as you walked away yet again from him.
For a brief moment, he believed your eyes met. For a brief moment, he felt his heart beat again. Yet, your eyes seemed to hold no recognition for him as it only passed through him. You didnât even stop. It was as though he was merely a stranger.
On the other hand, he thought that you looked different, but he knew in his dead heart that it was you.
Or was it his mind finally crumbling on him, reveling on his insanity?
He blinked once and you were gone.
Jimin, suffice to say, was shocked as his hyung ran back. He never saw him moved that fast, uncaring of the people who he would runover from his haste. His dark coat trailed behind him as he moved, a touch of desperation evident, compelling Jimin to reluctantly trail after him. Yoongi forcefully cleared a path, parting the crowd with determined strides. His singular focus was on reaching you, leaving his mind devoid of any other thoughts.
It was you, he was sure. It was his angel.
He was almost sure.
But when he reached where he saw you last, you werenât there.
Jimin was breathless when he finally reached his hyung who was looking around the crowd like a lost child. His hands were on his waist as his desperate eyes searched forâŠwho, exactly?
âWhat happened, hyu-â
âIt was her, Jimin-ah. I saw her.â
He blinked, following his hyungâs shifting gaze. âWho?â
âMy angel. Sheâs alive."

A/N: no explanation, this is just what i thought of when i listened to jungkook's song 'seven'. Hope you enjoy! đ

He looked like a real hard ass with all the black leather he wore, arms covered in ink, and chains hanging from his neck. You know the type, the guy your mama wouldn't want you bringing home.
He was your next-door neighbor and he rode a mean motorcycle. It was loud as fuck and woke you up about ten times during the night. And every time he saw you in the hallway? He'd have this shit-eating grin on, like he wanted to devour you whole.
"Think our mail got switched up again," he said, handing you a pile of letters. "Gonna need to talk to the mail man or somethin'."
"Oh geez," you replied, doing your best to avoid eye contact of more than three secondsâhis eyes were just a little too piercing. "Thanks." You shoved the letters under your arm and carried on your way. It was laundry day and you desperately needed to have clean clothes.
"Hey wait," he kept on your trail. "How's your day goin'?" He rushed ahead to open the laundry room door, allowing you to go first.
Look at him trying to be a gentleman, hmph. You held your head high and walked through the door. He'd break your heart as quick as he'd take it.
.
Like an itch that won't go away, Jungkook followed you as much as he could. No matter how much you scratched, he'd be right there, burning holes in the back of your neck. He'd watch you dump your clothes in the washer, walk you to your car whenever you needed to go anywhere, hell he even helped you carry in groceries when given the chance.
"What do you want Jeon?" You finally popped the question. He didn't look like he was simply "being generous" or "doing his part to make the world better". He was bumming around for something, he had to be.
"Go out with me," he simply quipped, knocking the air out of your lungs.
"Excuse me?"
He rolled his eyes, he was too old for beating around the bush and he was fed up with you giving him the silent finger. Not once have you told him to beat it straight to his face so he's gonna shoot his shot. "Yes or no __? You know I like you, why else would I be bugging the crap out of you?"
"'Cause you want to fuck me then leave me for your other neighbor, the one who lives on the other side of your door." You crossed your arms against your chest. "Tell me I'm wrong."
He narrowed his eyes, tiniest of smirks on his overly gorgeous, no good, lying face. " No you're right. I do wanna fuck that pretentious attitude you got. It's been pissing me off for weeks."
He took a step towards you, caging you between himself and your kitchen island. "What gives you the right to be this bitchy huh? You act like you know everything there is to know about me, but you're too damn stubborn to open your eyes and see it's all a complete farce." He leaned his head forward to graze his lips along the edge of your ear. "I don't know what little girl fairytales you've been taught but I'm not the monster you need to watch out for....and prince charmings don't exist, princess."
You shoved your hands against his chest but he grips them tight in his own. "We don't have to go out anymore. I see what you really think of me."
He released your wrist and headed for the door. "It's really a shame," he hollered before leaving. "You're really beautiful."
God you hated him.
.
For the next week, Jungkook was no where in sight. He didn't come see you, he didn't bring you anything, he went completely M.I.A. It was a breath of fresh air but by the second week, you wondered where he was and if he was okay. He did drive a motocylce afterall, maybe he got in an accident and you didn't know.
You stared at his door, hesistant to knock in fear if him actually being in there. He'd likely laugh you off when he saw you, so you purposefully picked a time he'd most likely be out and about anyway. You hated that you kinda knew his schedule.
Jungkook quirked an amused brow at you when he finally cranked his door open. He was wearing light washed jeans and no under shirt, his pecs were on full display. "What can I do for you princess?"
"Nothing," you spat, definitely not looking below his thick neck. "Just wanted to make sure you didn't do anything stupid yet."
"Checking up on me huh?" He put an elbow on the door frame, eyes darkening. "That's sweet."
"Fuck off. You're healthy it seems so I'm gonna go check up on the other neighbors now. I think Mrs. Baker set the fire alrms off the other day so I need to make sure she's okaâ"
You're arm was yanked back as soon as you moved to turn around. "Fuck you're bullshit __. You missed me didn't ya?"
"Not much to miss Jeon." You're such a liar, Jungkook muttered to himself. The whole world could see you were having a conversation with his pecs this whole timeâtoo damn timid to look him in the eyes.
"Shut up and say you'll go out with me already. I'm tired of waiting for your ass to come around."
.
You swallowed your pride and there you were, watching Jungkook splash in every single puddle. He just had to propose going out the one day it was storming out.
"Wipe that sour look off your face!" He stomped in the water, drenching you entirely.
You shrieked at the sudden coldness. Big droplets of water soaked your face, clothes, shoes, everything. "You're such a child Jungkook!"
He ignored you and wrapped his muscular arms around you. The white tank he wore was drenched as well. "You're having fun, admit it."
You scoffed. The only reason you agreed to go out was to show him how ridiculous it would be for the two of you to go out. You and Jungkook were likely the most incompatible people for each other. While he was out riding his bike with heavy metal blasting, you were watching the latest law drama in you're pajamas. It was only a matter of time before this expirament of his would show him the true results of your intermingling.
"C'mon," he took you by the hand and dragged you through the rain. "Just be in the moment __. Let the rain shower over you and be free!" He grabbed your other hand and began spinning you both in circles.
"I'm going to get dizzy."
"Then only look at me. Look at me and don't worry about what's around us. Focus on a single subject and you won't get dizzy." He pulled you by the waist, forcing you to stare straight at him.
He was right. The dizziness went away but your knees feel like jelly.
"What's holding you back?" Jungkook smiled and it was the most genuine smile you'd ever seen. "Look at me __. Look at us. What do you see?"
As you stood there in the pouring rain, a pair of deep, boy-like eyes locked with yours. This was him, the thought dawned on you, a soft-hearted guy who wasn't afraid to open himself up.
You felt a pang of guilty settle in your gutâyou weren't the better person like you so believed. You're closed off, comfortable in your space. Skeptical of anyone and everyone. You were wrong to see Jungkook as a careless, arrogant, motorcycle thug and it was a hard pill for you to swallow.
"I don't know." You replied softly, shivering at the faintest touch of his fingers supporting on your back. "I'm sorry, I don't know Jungkook."
"Well I see something worth sticking around for, rain or shine. I think I've become an idiot for you and I don't think that bothers you as much as you let on. You sought me out after I gave you space and I've literally been playing in the puddles this whole date and you haven't ditched me yet. So if you want some more of this, I'll give it to you with open hands, open heart, and I'll make sure to be loving you right." He winked before finishing. "As many days as you'd like."
Jungkook didn't give you much time to respond before he pressed his lips against your own. He made sure to go gentle, barely brushing them over your lips.
You understood immediatelyâif you wanted this, you were going to have to be the one to seal the deal.
And you did, kissing him with full force. You hoped you wouldn't regret this in the morning.
.
Ever since that night, you and Jungkook had started going out. It was slow at first but six months later, you and he finally made your relationship official.
"Shh," he cooed above you. He was a bit of a blur due to the pitch darkness of the room but you felt him everywhere. He was straddling your naked sides, praising your body like it was art. "Doing so good for me baby, making me so hardâfuck."
It was your first real-time being with a man and being your new boyfriend, Jungkook made sure to be extra attentive. "Kook," you moaned, back arching and pussy throbbing from where he had recently entered you.
He dragged his thick length out of you before slamming back in, a little rougher than the previous thrust. "That's it," he said through gritted teeth. "Let me hear those pretty moans. Been dying to hear them since I first saw you in those cute little sweat shorts you like walking to the laundry room in."
"Faster Kook, please." You gripped his muscular back, wrapping your legs tighter around his waist. You needed him lodged so far in your gut that you'd literally see stars. "Pleaâplease."
"Shit baby, if you start begging this early I can't promise you I won't go completely feral and I don't want to hurt you."
"I want all of you Jungkook," you said. "You said you'd love me right, so do it." And that's all it took for your boyfriend to lock down on your waist with firm hands, pounding into you with all he had.
You tried looking up at him, wanting to look him dead in the eye as he fucked into you but you couldn't handle it. He was dripping with sweat, his muscles were tense, veins were protruding out of neck, and his teeth were clamped shut. He was focused and he knew what he was doing. You on the other hand were a complete opposite story.
"Jung-Jungkook, oh god, fuck!" You screamed incoherently. His big cock reached every inch inside you, stretching you out with every snap of his hips. Never in your life had you had so much pleasure in a short amount of time. And embarrasing it may be, you were definitely going to come far before the usual.
"Look at you fucking falling apart already. Too much for your tight little pussy to handle isn't it? Well you begged for this, and now you're gonna take this cock like a big girl aren't ya," he barked, landing a sharp slap to your ass.
"Shit!" You yelped, clenching around him automatically. "Gonna come Kook...please-please. It's my first time I-"
You came without finishing the plead, sticky white substance ran down your thighs and onto the sheets. Jungkook's wet length continues to move in you, pushing some of your cum back in. The erotic squelching makes your eyes roll to the back of your head.
"Mhm yeah." He planted a trail of rough kisses up your neck, teeth nipping at the delicate skin. "And now you're gonna come again, and again, and again til you're dripping with my cum. I'm gonna then eat you out while my fingers play with your clit. But congrats on your first-time baby, because from here on out, you're gonna become my slut , and I'll be fucking you seven days a week."

Taehyung looked up from his cellphone to his eldest hyung that was currently cooking their dinner. He pouted when he was not given the appropriate amount of attention he should be given. Honestly, he deserved it! After a moment when he still did not get what he wanted, he finally asked the question he had been dying to know the answer to.
âHyung, is it always like that?â
âHmm? Like what, Tae?â he asked while chopping diligently the vegetables the renowned doctor was preparing for a certain psychologist and his brothers that insisted they were hungry as well.
âWhen it endsâŠdoes it always hurt like that?â
Seokjin blinked at Taehyungâs unprompted question. He paused before he finally brought his eyes to the actor. He knew that the younger man had always been eccentric. His clinical condition definitely explained his behavior, but not this. He was never curious about the emotions he couldnât feel, nor did he ever show any interest on understanding emotions. As the years passed by, Kim Taehyung got better at masking and pretending by learning the root causes of the emotions he could see. The brothers had always thought that this was precisely why he chose to be an actor. Everytime they watched him cried, laughed, or acted furious for his movies and dramas, they thought he was a different person.
Jin thought it was just understandable why he dropped the knife he was holding.
âWhat brought this on?â
âHe-â he lifted his mobile phone to show Jin the picture Jimin snapped of their Yoongi hyung looking like he had lost all his will to live. Taehyung found it so ridiculous that Jimin even made a collage of him and a cat that depicted their hyung. â-looks like breathing is a chore and is only fighting to live so he can end his enemies.â
Jin would have laughed had this happened before he met his sunshine. But now, the mere thought of her leaving set him on edge, and he knew he would be similar to Yoongi if not worse. Slowly, he picked up his knife as he carefully chose his words. He was always like this with Taehyung ever since he knew that something was not quite right in his mind, wellâŠmore than any of them, to be honest. The younger man took things at face value, and all the brothers knew to talk in a straightforward manner so there wouldnât be any confusion on Taehyungâs part.
He kidded you not, once when they were still teenagers, they asked him to go ahead and get them a table in a restaurant. He left without any qualms only to return not an hour later carrying a big ass table from a restaurant. That was a horrifying memory, Jin thought, and that was when they all decided to change the way they talked. It was Namjoon that took it too far and enrolled the man in a body language class to better cope with society. However, it was Jungkook that forced him to take psychology classes with him for fun.
âI think itâs different,â Jin started, busying himself once again with cooking. âYoongi never has love like that, I guess. Itâs understandable that he acts like a sad lonely cat.â
Seokjin could still clearly remember how Yoongi looked at you. It was like you were all he ever wanted and more, like you were his reprieve from the darkness in his life. You were, as he called you, an angel to him. And then he lost you.
âWhy?â
âWellâŠsheâs his personal slice of heaven,â he answered, his voice contemplative and understanding of what Yoongi was going through. Jin paused in his chopping, a thoughtful expression crossing his features as he carefully considered his words. âAnd heâs been living in hell the very moment he was born. What do you think would happen if he was given a taste of heaven and then lost it?â
âJust like Hoseok hyung,â Taehyung nodded, slightly understanding the downfall of these strong men.
âSeriously, you are all worse than the ahjummas who love to talk about other peopleâs lives. Be better than that, guys,â Kim Namjoon observed with his deadpanned voice as soon as he walked in the kitchen. He took in the scene of the two men conversing and the other man quietly eating the snack Jin prepared him.
Jin scoffed as he rolled his eyes at Namjoon. âAs if you wouldnât react like that when your secretary finally resigns.â
To which, Namjoon only smirked. âWho says she can leave?â
âHow will you stop her and her son if the father finally shows up?â
Namjoon, with his hand in his pocket, calmly uttered words that no normal people would believe to have any other meaning. âWell, as you said, the dead donât exactly come back to life, do they?â
Jin chuckled at Namjoon. Of course, he did something about that man. It was apparent, he thought. He could still vividly remember the look in Namjoonâs eyes when he told him that his secretary was pregnant and that the asshole of a father even put his hands on her. Suffice to say, it was the most unhinged Namjoon ever was.
âI think Namjoon will be the worst among us if he ever loses the love of his life,â Jin noted with lightness in his voice.
âNah,â Jungkook finally lifted his head from his bowl. âI sincerely think itâll be Taehyung.â
The conversation never left Jeon Jungkookâs mind. Anyway, he didnât need anyone to tell him to do this. He did this out of the bond he shared with his brothers. Had this happened to any among them, he would have done the same.
He thought that it was cruel to let them experience the same hell he had been living every single day.
And so, he worked tirelessly and utilized every available technology and connection he had just to look for Yoongiâs angel. When he said she was alive, when he said he felt in his heart that you could have not gone where he couldnât follow, then heâd believed him. He wouldnât lose anything by looking for you, Jungkook rationalized. But he didnât want to unnecessarily get his brotherâs hopes up until he had evidence that you were indeed alive.
One morning, it finally happened. There you were.
Jungkookâs eyes could not have gone any bigger as he watched the CCTV of a far province in his office.
That was you, he was sure.
Without a moment's hesitation, he reached for his phone and dialed the person he knew he could trust. "Hyung, can you come to my office?" he requested urgently, the excitement and disbelief evident in his voice.
âThatâs her,â Kim Namjoon validated after a moment. He was standing beside Jungkookâs seated form as he leaned in the monitor. He was ever the image of calmness with his hand in his pocket, his suit immaculate and not a crease in sight.
Seokjin raised his brows as he sat in a relaxed manner on the couch. Jungkook didnât even call him, yet he was here because he was, per his words, bored and that a certain sunshine was not where she should be. âSo the dead can indeed come back to life,â he noted with a tone the two men couldnât understand. âPray tell, Namjoon-ah. Should we tell Yoongi?â
Jungkook blinked at the rising tension between the two men. Whereas Jin merely looked curious, Namjoon looked like he was looking at the end of the sword with the way his jaw was clenched. He stood up straight and took a second to answer Seokjin.
âOf course, hyung. This is a great news, after all.â
âHmm,â Seokjin smirked, his legs crossed as though nothing could have fazed him. It was moment like this when Jungkook could see the mafia prince in his usually playful hyung. Everybody knew not to cross this man despite him appearing goofy and motherlike to them.
Jungkook thought that it would only take one momentous catastrophe for him to return to his dark persona. He didnât want to see that, though.
âHeâs suffered enough, right?â Jin asked the room with a light tone, yet his eyes pierced through Namjoonâs. âRight, Namjoon-ah?â
Seven Mississippis passed before he answered. Jungkook knew because he counted, and he hated the tension he didnât know why was present.
âJungkook, tell Yoongi hyung,â Namjoon ordered.
â-
Min Yoongiâs brows were pulled together as he walked in a bustling street of a faraway province. He had to drive almost four hours just because their maknae told him to be here at this exact hour, claiming that he desperately needed him to be there. However, Jungkook was not answering his phone despite numerous calls from him.
Where was even that little shit, Yoongi asked himself as he surveyed the whole place. Â
Despite barely getting any sleep, he found himself in a situation where he might have to scold his youngest brother for the first time. He should have been in Seoul right now, but he couldnât exactly say no to him. He had shit ton of things to do and yet he was indulging the youngest brother.
Maybe this was exactly why he was spoiled? Ah, but anyway, he was a good kid.
So where was he?!
He walked further into the thick of the plaza, his phone plastered in his ear as he listened to the annoying and incessant ringback tone of Jungkook. Seriously, at this day and age? His eyes roamed the area of happy locals, at which he rolled his eyes.
He was on the verge of deciding whether he should just go ahead and kill Jungkook when he finally answered.
âWhere the fuck are you?â he growled over the other line, his patience running thin when the man just answered innocently.
âAt Seoul, hyung-â
âThen why am I here?! I swear to heavens, if you made me drive here just to buy you a weird snack then Iâll really kill you!â
âSeokjin hyung will be mad!â
Right. The eldest was protective of the youngest. What a nuisance, he thought. âThen Iâll do it in secret.â
Jungkook chuckled nervously. He couldnât place whether he was joking or not. His money was that if his hyung could get away with it, heâd be floating in the river at this very moment. âI asked you to go there because I have a surprise for you, hyung.â
âI donât particularly enjoy surprises-â he began, but was swiftly interrupted.
âI know, I know. But this one, Iâm sure youâll like. This is the most beautiful, most precious, most amazing surprise ever. Youâll stop sulking and looking like a sad cat and Jimin hyung will finally stop taking badly captured and cropped photos of you and make it into a collage. Taehyung hyung will stop observing your miserable demeanor for his next movie. Youâll finally stop living like itâs such a chore and-â
His back was bumped by a force. Turning around, he prepared to glare at the perpetrator only to stop because there it was.
There was you.
It was as if the universe finally said that he had enough and stopped punishing him because he saw you when he was not even looking for you. Your mouth hanged agape, your hand going to your forehead as you murmured apologies to him.
He was stunted. No, he was bewildered.
Was this real? Or was this one of his cruel dreams again, a figment of his mind playing tricks on him?
But no.
He had been living in hell, yet moment he heard your voice, all the sufferings disappeared. This was really you. You were truly alive. He was frozen as his wildest dream was brought into life. His whole body went into a state of shock, something that he never thought could ever happen.
It didnât really matter the years he spent without you because one touch, one word- these were all it took for him to forget the bitterness your separation brought him.
With a trembling voice, Yoongi dared to call for you. âAnge-â
But before he could say another word, you interrupted, your voice light and apologetic.
âIâm really sorry, mister. I didnât see you,â you chuckled, slightly lifting your walking stick to explain the small accident. You bowed down at the man before going your way.
And he stood there, watching as the love of his life walked away from him, unseeing. He thought he could no longer hurt. He thought that nothing could have fazed him any longer. But he was wrong. Watching you walked, unseeing as you traversed the plaza with only your walking stick pained him.
How did this happen to you?
Was it because of the incident?
Was that why you couldnât return to him? Because you werenât able to?
Or did he miss all the glaring signs?
Slowly, he lifted the old phone you gifted him years ago to his ear. âYou didnât stop looking for her?â
Jungkook was quiet for a moment. âWellâŠI would never wish this hell on anyone, much less my brother,â he stated, his voice carrying a certain tone of sadness they often heard from him. âGo get her, hyung.â
The bustling city streets faded into a blur around you as you walked, your steps slow and deliberate despite the cacophony of noise that surrounded you. Your sight may have been almost gone, but your other senses seemed to have sharpened in response, each sound and scent painting a vivid picture in his mind.
You remembered that when you were younger, you read a passage from a book entitled, âThe Song of Achillesâ. You thought it was a well-written book, a love that transcended even death. There was a line your college friends always thought to be a masterpiece. But you never understood it. The line so many people loved never really touched you.
Until it did.
Until you understood each word written in that book.
âI could recognize him by touch alone, by smell; I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world.â
Because right now, the words made sense. You could recognize him despite your deteriorating eyesight. You knew him. He was here. And he was following youâŠto what exactly? Was he here to end you? Was he here to make sure that you wouldnât tell the world of his secret identity?
Regardless of the reason, you tried to remain calm as Hoseok always ordered you to. You had no choice but to lead him back home, otherwise you were sure that he would be suspicious. The man that you used to love was perceptive, and any suspicious movements could alert him. From the moment you opened the front door to the time you closed it, you knew you only had a couple of seconds.
You fished the phone Hoseok gave you, one with tactile buttons and controls that made it easier for you to use it. You knew you couldnât use the speech-to-text feature, otherwise heâd hear. And so, with a tense movement, you sent a message to him.
Heâs here. Donât come home. Leave with my son.

Jungkook x Reader: Lost You

Summary: You've always been in love with him, but today you were done waiting for him, to see you, to understand you. You were finally done with Jeon Jungkook.

A/n: I tried something new idk how it is. I'm almost nervous to post it. But who cares đ¶âđ«ïž. Anyway Chan and Jimin were spotted in a restaurant in comfy clothes and I'm digging that!
â ïž: Its kinda sad (?!), Jungkook is a douche bag, a little suggestive.
_____________________________________
You kept calling him but no use, his phone was switched off. He should have been here 3 hours ago. You hoped, he was in a business meeting as he told you when you asked him to come home by 6 and he said he'd be home by 7 as he had a meeting.Â
You still remember the first day you met him, back when you were both 10 in one of your dad's fancy parties. "His father is important to the company, they are new in town, go play with him and be friends. Ok, Y/n?" Your mother had told you with a sweet smile on her face as you nodded. And the rest was history. Considering your circle mostly considered if the children of the other directors and business partners he fit in with all of you well.Â
15 more minutes passed, and you could only worry more, you walked to the kitchen to get some water and placed your phone and whatever you had in your hand on the counter and get a glass of water, mid way of drinking it you heard the sound of your door open and close and you rushed to see.Â
"Jungkook?" You called out his name and he looked at you wide eyes like a doe caught in headlights, an expression floated on his face which looked like remembrance.Â
"You were with her weren't you?" The question flew from your mouth before you could filter it and you found that look filled with guilt on his face. You scoffed and folded your hands and started to walk off to your shared room when he said.Â
"Why are you like this? She needed me okay!" Jungkook said. "What about me Jungkook? I, your girlfriend, needed you! And you went off with Minji" you said in frustration. "Don't say as if I was sleeping with her. She's still my good friend" he argued and you walked to the kitchen to grab your belongings and stepped inside the room he and you shared.Â
You slid down to the ground as you closed the door. You still remember that day she walked into your life, Seo Minji.Â
It was when you were 15.Â
"Hey, isn't that the new kid?" Mingyu asked and you nodded. "Aw she's sitting alone" Jihyo said frowning, "Y/n go invite her here" Chan said, elbowing you. "Why me?" You asked, not like you were opposed to this aspect but you were simply curious. "You're good at this. I'm saying from experience" Jungkook said flashing his bunny smile, the smile that made your heart skip a beat, you would have done anything for that smile.
And you did, you invited Minji to your table, soon you found out her father actually worked for your father. "I feel strange sitting among you guys,I don't think I fit in" she said shyly. "Bullshit, we're all people" you daid ensuring her, "Yeah, there's nothing much different between you and us, welcome to our group" Jungkook said, flashing that sane smile at here.
It was truly where it all had started, Minji trying to get the boys in her clutches. She thought you and Jihyo didn't notice her accidental touches or her kawai and weak acts in front of them. While Chan could see through them, Mingyu and Jungkook never did.Â
"Why didn't you two speak up when we were trying to get Mr Kim to invite Minji to the party?" Jungkook asked and Mingyu shook his head. You tightened your fist as Chan held it to ease you up. "She'd feel out of place," Jihyo tried to reason. The truth is you didn't want her to engage further with your circle. She already got Jungkook and Migyu to get her everything she might want. You watched as she used those two as her personal atm, a bat of her eyelashes and she had theÂ
"Gucci bag she wanted but couldn't get as she had to buy her grandmother's medicine"Â
"Prada shoes cause she was sad her (nonexistent) fish died"Â
You three tried to show them the real deal, but they refused as Minji never asked, they were willing to give her because she "deserved to be happy too".Â
You smiled at yourself as you heard a knock on the door. "Babe, seriously why are you angry? I swear nothing happened, we just talked, Mingyu has been ignoring Minji and she felt alone, so she just needed someone to talk to and have a glass of wine with" He said. This always happened, One call and Jungkook would go running to her.Â
You remember when you were 18, and your father and Jungkook's father declared that you and Jungkook would be engaged. You couldn't help your smile, you would be wed to your best friend to the person you fell for all those years ago. You were happy that now you could help him see reason, help him come out of Minji's clutches. But one look at his face, and you felt all your feelings drain away, his face was filled with disdain and he walked away. He didn't even consider that you could be the one for him for once. Did you expect something else? Did you expect he'll come happily to you and agree to this, you idiot.Â
But, how could you? You lived to look into his doe eyes that shone bright, not for you, for Minji. You lived for that toothy smile that went brighter when Minji was there. No, they never were in a relationship, rather she never came into a relationship with either Jungkook or Mingyu.Â
You still remember that day when you were 21, you had just graduated and were at your father's (soon to be yours) office working on some designs about a deal with your assitant Jimin and your now business associates Bangchan and Jungkook. No you two still spoke, you all were still friends and he acted like that evening never occured like he never broke your heart and crushed it into pieces. You remember Mingyu rushing into your cabin and hugging you tightly cheering "She said yes! She said yes! Minji said yes". You were stunned for a moment, you all were. "To what?" Chan managed to ask the man who was happy beyond bounds. "To marry me!" He said, "I'll go home, I just came to tell as I knew most of you are here, I've texted Jihyo, now I gotta tell my parents!" He said with his bright smile. "Congratulations" Jimin said to the departing man, who screamed a "thank you". All of your eyes shifted to Jungkook, his face motionless, teeth gritted, his fist so tight that his knuckles were turning white, a single tear left his eye. You shouldn't but you felt like your heart ached seeing him and you realised how down bad you were still for Jeon Jungkook. "Can you guys complete the rest without me? I'll just sign it" he asked. "Yeah, sure" you said and he walked away. The next day Jihyo had called you and told you, "of course she's marrying Mingyu, he's the heir, the elder child, Jungkook is second to his brother. How is he holding up?" You gave the exact words that you told Chan earlier that day "i don't know". The truth being, he never even read your texts, you didn't have the courage to meet him.Â
You sighed at the banging sound from across the door. "If you need something tell me, if not please go to the other room". "Can you open the door once Y/n please. Please" he pleaded "Go away Jungkook please" you said, you wished you had said that to him that day two years ago. 3 days after Mingyu's proposal to Minji, you found Jungkook at your door, "can I come in" he had asked you in a broken voice. Your heart broke with his, you couldn't bear to see him like that. He came in to hug you, and you patted your head.Â
"She loves him, I have to accept that. I don't know how you do it Y/n" he said, and your eyes went wide, tears stung them. "How do you even bear to look at my face much less comfort me after all I've done. How do you look beyond your feelings?" He asked. "Since when have you known?" You asked. "Since 3 days ago, when I saw the hurt in your eyes and realised how you have always been there." He said holding onto your cheek. Your brain told you to pull away, to push him away, to throw him out of the room, when his face inched closer to yours. You knew what he's doing, yet you didn't pay heed to the voice in your head. You focused on the doe eyes that looked into yours deep. Those arms that slid around your waist and pulled you close. You chose to focus on those lips that were attached to yours. You had thought, maybe this time he chose you, maybe this is it for you two. And it was, for the next few months.Â
Jungkook and you walked hand in hand and stood beside Jimin and Chan along with Jihyo, on Mingyu and Minji's wedding day. Gyuji marriage was the talk of the town and things were finally looking up. Until 3 months into the wedding and you all were in the same party and seemingly Jungkook and Minji caught up, "you are still my best friend" Minji had told him, you tried your best not to drain a flute of wine on her. You didn't really mind much, ge did come back to you. He did love you. Things weren't so bad a few missed dates were seen and apologized and managed up until he missed your 2nd anniversary date and then your birthday. Once because Minji was sick and Mingyu was out of town and other because he mixed up the date after he had drunk a lot the day before with Minji and got absorbed at work.
But today was your last straw, you were done waiting around for him. You were done waiting for him to see you beneath Minji's shadow. You were done crying for him. You were done with him. So you texted Chan and Jimin, asking if their spare room was empty and if you could crash for sometime. Hence, you packed a small bag, took your phone and wallet and left the apartment. "Y/n! Y/n no. Please don't leave me over this. I'll be more attentive and careful. Y/n please." He pleaded. You might have stopped if this would have been any other day, but not today. Cause today you were done with Jeon Jungkook and the bullshit that comes with him.

You don't stop, he lost you. He really lost you. He walks into the room you used to share. He found a book on the floor near the bed and a white and blue strip inside it. Jungkook was familiar with this strip or well, device, his eyes shifted to the words that were written on the little screen, 'positive'. "FUCK FUCK FUCK" Jungkook cursed as he felt like tearing off his hair, he did this to himself.Â

Brushes And Beats chapter 12
pairing: JiminxReader
genre: fluff with a pinch of angst
trope: enemies to lovers

:embarassment who?:
Y/n's Pov
Will you believe me if I tell you that I sprinted across the cafeteria away from Jimin as if my life depended on it?
Well, that's exactly what I did
I had never felt this level of panic and embarrassment before!!
I could feel my face turning into a fierce shade of crimson while I weaved across the tables on my way to the nearest exit.
WHY DID HE OPEN THE ENVELOPE
WHO OPENS AN ENVELOPE WITH A FLOWER
TALK ABOUT PRIVACY
In the midst of my embarrassment, I couldn't help but admire Jimin's determination to find out who had sent me flowers. Why is he so persistent?! I need to hide, I NEED TO HIDE
I darted to the nearest bathroom and locked myself in one of the stalls, desperately trying to catch my breath and calm my racing heart. I sat on the toilet sit with my head on my hands as I tried to come up with a plan to avoid Jimin and salvage the remains of my dignity "Come on, Y/n" I murmured to myself. "I should have taken it out" banging my head on my hands "This is so embarrassing" my fingers racked through my hair "I'll just say that I bought it with his money and it's just my name on it, not a big deal" a fake cry left my mouth, I CAN'T THINK.
knock knock
My heart jumped at the sound, my eyes widened, Oh no! Not now, I recognize these shoes
The guy just didn't know when to give up! In an attempt to regain my composure and come up with a plan, I took a deep breath and counted to three before opening the door.
"Hey there," I said in what I hoped was a casual tone, but my voice came out sounding more high-pitched than usual.
There stood Jimin with an 'innocent look' on his face, what a devil, "Hello there good to see you again, inside the boys' washroom" a sly grin appeared on his face. "I should take my leave" hunching my shoulder slightly trying to put some distance, not that he was super close but his presence alone felt heavy.
"Ok bye" I muttered as I tried to quickly slip past him and make my escape. But Jimin wasn't about to let me off the hook that easily. As I reached for the door, my way was blocked by his outstretched arm, resting against the frame, but now he wasn't grinning anymore,
In the discomforting closeness of the washroom, Jimin looked at me with eyes heavy with complex sentiments. "You lied, you never had a date yesterday did you?" he asked, his voice just a whisper in the small space.
My mind sprinted as I tried to figure out my escape from this conversation and the emotions it was stirring within me. His closeness to me was making my body hum in a way I didn't want to examine at that moment. With a forced casualness, I answered, "No, I did, Fine the flower was not sent by him it was me, BUT I had a date."
He raised an eyebrow, doubting me again. Breaking the intense eye contact, I fumbled for my phone in my purse. A swift pull of the tiny device brought out a bunch of receipts, my lip gloss, and other tidbits I didn't need at that moment. Finally, my hands gripped around my phone. Quickly, I pulled up a picture from last night and extended my arm to show the photographic evidence to Jimin.
"What? Not my fault the deal you cooked had loopholes." I said evenly. He looked at the pictures and then met my eyes, a series of emotions crossing his face. "And I am sure that he can give me more than just a firework, I mean he already had the upper hand with height" Low-blow y/n low-blow "What is even more impressive is his sense of humor and the way he makes me laugh"
He towers above me, he may be shorter than other men but he was definitely way taller than me, causing me to crane my neck up to look him in the eye. His coal-dark eyes burned into mine with an intensity that seeped beneath my skin, I couldn't help but look up and traced his features with my eyes, soaking in the lush curve of his lips and the fine planes of his features.
Thud. Thud. Thud.
" Are you struggling to not start a fight again? " I huffed as I crossed my arms across my chest, " I thought we had a deal " he leans forward closing the gap between us, so close that I could feel his breath go down from my right ear to my neck " I'm trying to decide whether I should kiss you or strangle you, it's my daily struggle birdy ".
Did I want him to take me in his arms and kiss me senseless?
yes, yes I did,
But I knew indulging in these complicated feelings will only lead to unwanted situations. Sweat coated my palms.
"I thought you were smart Birdy, I must be wrong" his voice laced with a mock as he leaned even closer, his lip mere inches away from mine
My heart is a vigorous drum in my chest, my blood electric in my veins. It was like heâd wanted to engrave his words in my mind, and heâd succeeded. My skin flushed hotter than it already was. His mouth curved into a tiny smirk as he stared at me.
âAre you just going to stand there, or are you going to do something?â I asked in as bored a tone as I could muster. There could be anyone coming inside right now, and the last thing I need right now is a scandal instead of feeling scared and doing the right things I push him against the door and feel a thrill when I hear the thud of his weight against it.
âKiss me,â I whisper and the air gets warmer.
I feel him pushing back and we found ourselves inside one of the toilet stalls, "I'm not going to kiss you Birdy" he continues "As per our deal, If your guy isnât as good, you have to admit it to me. To my face. Verbally. Honestly. No sarcasm.â Every loophole is neatly closed.
âItâs weird you want me to.â I take a step back and almost knock over the tissue roll "I'm not gonna kiss you Birdy unless you tell me no one kisses you as I do" He adds one more caveat. âOne last thing. You can kiss him only onceâ I couldn't believe the turn of events. My heart raced as I tried to process his words. My mind was a whirlwind of emotions as his words hung in the air. At that moment, it felt like time stood still. At that moment, I found myself torn between the desire to give in to my feelings for him and the realization that this was a dangerous game we were playing.
The air inside the small restroom stall felt heavy with tension as we stood there, our eyes locked in a silent battle of emotions. At that moment, I realized he had me wrapped around his finger, just as much as I wished to have him wrapped around mine.
