This Is Hysterical And I Love It So Much

This is hysterical and I love it so much😂

Did I ever mentioned my AU I had waaaaay back in the day where brand new baby Kon isn’t left alone and passed around the superhero community like a bad Pollyanna gift but is legally adopted by Bruce? So you have Kon, artificially grown with Kryptonian DNA who just wants love and Bruce takes him in and does his best to be a good dad/mentor. Tim is brought in not long after and they train together to be Robin. Now Bruce generally doesn’t have a problem with supers but in his city, the Bats don’t have powers. So Kon undergoes the same rigorous training a human would and he’s trained to hide his powers. 

Since Tim was still kind of a part timer at first with family and school, he and Kon tag team as Robin. Now fam, you know me. Most of my AUs are born out of interesting what ifs/world explorations and things that I think are fucking hysterical. So Kon is mostly good at hiding he’s a meta, like he’s trained to use his powers in a subtle way that most people wouldn’t notice. Kid is straight up a Bat and no one questions. But everyone now and again, he gets like blown up and shot at or something and nothing happens. And Gotham rogues are wigging. 

Every other Robin at least like reacts when they’re shot, this one just kind of shrugs. All the Bats have been human so statistically this one should be to there’s no reason to assume otherwise. It gets funnier when you consider he and Tim are switching out so one week Tim gets hurt and its like ‘oh yeah this Robin’s normal, maybe that incident the other day was just weird lighting’ and then Kon lifts a car one handed to rescue a woman and !!! Gotham has never been more chaotic.

Ino: it’s honestly adorable, my heart goes out to Shikamaru

Temari: no come on you were on my side by the end of this

Ino: I never was. *laughing*I love you but the man just wants to hug his wife

Temari: okay wait maybe I can convince Choji. Okay Choji this is what happens, I’ll by busy I’m working, organizing, training or I’ll just have my arms full and Shikamaru will just come up and go ‘stop hug?’ *hysterical laughter from group* and what am I supposed to do? I don’t, the timing I can’t-

Ino: wait you’re not explaining, ‘stop hug’ meant that no matter what was going on Temari was supposed to put everything down and share a long tight hug *Choji crying laughing* I stayed with them for like a week at the sand and she’s like ‘no what are you talking about! No stop hugs right now!

Temari: we’ll be like going to meetings for setting up chunin exams and he goes ‘stop hug?’ and I’m like NO, no stop hug right now!

Ino: this is so fun for us because like-

Choji: he didn’t hug us! We’re his best friends do you realize how long it took for him to hug us?

Ino: he almost like couldn’t. We’ve been friends for decades and he’s a hugger now but before he’d be like ‘atta-girl high five’

Choji: at most a shoulder tap and ‘hey pal’

Loyalty (Part Three - Soulmate!Loki)

Pairing: Loki x Reader, Soulmates AU

Word count: 11.1k but this is broken into significantly more scenes than last time.

Warnings: In no particular order this chapter includes the following: Depression, Major character death, Angst, and Tooth-Rotting Fluff.

Summary: Soulmates were a gift to Asgard from the goddess Frigga, but Loki was starting to think they might be a curse.

And while it won’t follow this Reader x Loki, they will both be featured as characters in the story (with the Reader of this story given a name in that one to allow that spin off to also be a reader insert fanfiction). (Y/n) stood, arm-in-arm with Freyja, at the entrance to Asgard’s feasting hall. She wasn’t sure if her fears should be heightened or crushed by walking with Freyja. There was the advantage that Freyja unintentionally drew a great deal of attention. No eyes, save perhaps (Y/n)’s family, would be on her. The disadvantage was the obvious. How did anyone compare when walking next to the Goddess of Beauty herself. 

“Relax.” What should have been a comforting word came out as an order from Freyja. “Your family is here, and you will only be sat beside them, Loki, and myself. 

“I still have to get to the seat.” (Y/n) murmured to herself more than her companion.

Freyja rolled her eyes. “You think I would let you fall? You’re liable to take me down with you if you do, and I simply wouldn’t allow for that.” 

“How reassuring.”

Freyja nodded to the guards, and the pair of men pushed the doors open for their entrance.
