I'm Amal, 33 years old. My husband Eyad is 39, and we have seven children: Hala (15), Nour (13), Abdelrahman (11), Mohammed (9), Omar (6), Ahmed (4), and baby Hoor, just 7 months old.
In the blink of an eye, we awoke to a devastating barrage of bombs. The war had begun, and soon tanks surrounded us as the northern Gaza Strip was declared off-limits. We fled immediately from the north, leaving behind my husband who had to stay with his elderly father who cannot walk. The presence of checkpoints and the prohibition of vehicles forced my husband to remain in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the north of Gaza.
My four-year-old son, Ahmed, suffers from diabetes. It is a constant struggle to find insulin injections and test strips. Weeks go by without being able to check his sugar levels, leaving me in fear of whether his levels are too high or too low.

I fled on foot, just ten days after giving birth. I carried my ten-day-old baby and my other young children, alone, fighting for their safety. A few days later, the northern Gaza Strip was completely isolated, leaving my husband trapped.
I cannot bear the panic attacks that Hoor suffers from the constant bombing
It was incredibly difficult to care for my children without my husband, moving from one place to another. I finally sought refuge in a shelter school in Deir Al-Balah.
My children have been deprived of their father, who used to provide all their needs. Their schooling has been halted, and their mental health is in ruins due to the war. My baby girl cannot get proper nutrition and is unable to sleep due to the constant sounds of bombs.
We share our room at school with 40 people, lacking water and sanitary supplies
My husband remains in the north, experiencing severe famine. Periodically, I manage to contact him, learning that he is still alive, but his situation is dire.
We want to escape Gaza and survive this tragic war, to build a decent life for my family, providing the basics of life: food, medical care, and a safe home.

We have been through many wars before, but this war was not like the ones before it. Our lives were turned upside down. We became displaced from one place to another. We are the Anas family, residents of northern Gaza, specifically in the Shujaiya area. In the first week of the war, we fled our home because everyone considered our home to be in a dangerous area. We moved to the Rimal area, specifically in the middle of Gaza. There, we received the news that our home, which contained all our beautiful memories, was bombed. Suddenly, it was gone!!! Just thinking that your home, which you worked hard on and built from scratch and took a lot of your life, was gone in less than a second 💔! After a while, we left the sands to the Al-Zawaida area because of the heavy shelling. We stayed there for about two weeks, and then the terrorist army asked us to go to Rafah. We actually fled for the fourth time to Rafah and stayed there for two months, some of the most difficult days of our lives, as there was no way or means to live a normal life. 😔😔 After that, because of the invasion of Rafah, we moved to Deir al-Balah. Now, we are in very difficult and oppressive circumstances.

I will talk briefly about my family: During the war, my family was evacuated from Khan Yunis to Rafah. They became homeless and were evacuated more than five times. They are now living on the streets, and have nowhere to live. We have lost everything. Our home, our dream and our future have been destroyed and now I am trying to get my family out of Gaza, but unfortunately we do not have the financial capacity left to pay the costs of leaving Gaza. Each person needs between 5,000 and 7,000 US dollars to leave Gaza.
This is what prompted me to resort to fundraising. My family's situation is getting worse day by day. My mother has an injured foot and needs care and treatment. She has severe pain in her foot, but there is no treatment or care available, and my nieces need milk and food.
They are young, Zahyam is two years old, and Mahmood is one year old. And the situation is getting worse. day after day . In order to facilitate the evacuation of my family from Gaza to Egypt, I am setting up a campaign to raise $40,000, and here is the breakdown of the funds: •
A total amount of US$35,000 has been allocated to cover expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, as well as transit fees at Rafah, on the Egypt-Gaza border.
This amount is divided into US$5,000 - US$7,000 per person, including my mother, my brother, his wife, and his daughters, Mahmood and Zahyam. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in the safety of my family.
