The Secret History Character Study One Shots

Okay so I’ve been using this book for writing practice and characterization for the past few months. So far I have 3 stories all focusing on Richard and another character. There’s a Charles-centric one (alternate ending thing), a Henry-centric one (Henry learns about Richard’s father), and a Francis-centric one (a sick fic involving his backstory). I’m thinking up ideas for Bunny and Camilla. Then I might revisit Charles since his is the only one still in Richard’s POV.

I just decided to turn these things into a series on AO3 so they’re easy to link. I’ll put that here:

to put this into perspective... anacreon not only is untranslated even TODAY, let alone in the 70s-80s, but will probably never be translated. the poems anacreon wrote are not lacking in words to be translated into, the hardship in translating them lays with that they are conceived to be recited to music. they are also, exclusively, love poems.
