Saito Hiroyuki

Hiro is a student taking the general education course in the U.A. He was previously led to believe his quirk was too dangerous to use.

He has gone through quite a lot, redesigning him, messing with his personality, messing with his lore. The one thing that has yet to change is his quirk: Shapeshifting. Now, I thought Shapeshifting was too overpowered, so I nerfed it. The limitations were that he could only transform into animals, and to narrow it down further, he could only transform into animals that shared his body weight like a domesticated dog, but it didn't mean he couldn't turn into something like a lion.

He lives with his Pro-Hero aunt, Chiyuji, because his mother died, and his father went missing along with his older brother, Masatoki. Because his aunt holds a grudge against his father, she forces him to suppress his quirk. He and his father have the same quirk, and because he knows nothing about his father, he believes her when she tells him that he must never use his power. Despite this, he wanted to become a hero like her to help others and prove that he wasn't a weak, quirkless kid.

Hiro inherited a mixture of qualities from his parents: his mother's spontaneity and passion and his father's patience and temper. In middle school, he scared off several bullies who thought they could pick on him. His aunt told him he possessed a dangerous quirk, so he learned not to trust himself around others in case he were to slip up and accidentally use his quirk. Thanks to this, he had very few friends since he would push them away.

Kaisei Hisatoshi wasn't afraid of him like everyone else was, and they quickly became friends. He was happy with just one friend, and her presence taught him to trust himself more. Not entirely, but he would get there one day.

Along with his aunt cementing his insecurities and teaching him to hate himself because of the quirk he was born with, she's also very transphobic. Once Hiro graduated from the U.A., Kaisei finally convinced him to run away from home; she and her mother would let him sleep on their couch. He believed he was a burden because of this and disappeared without a trace one day.

From that day on, he was missing.

There were missing persons' reports for him, and pros showered the city whenever they could. During this time, he lived off the streets, pickpocketing and teaching himself to parkour, something he used to do in his free time after classes during high school. He survived until two people from the League of Villains found him. Technically three.

Dabi, Icarus, and Daichi. Only Daichi was a toddler in a baby sling.

Icarus was quick to accept Hiro into the League of Villains because he saw him as a broken and lost boy tossed aside by society. Even with little space left, Icarus built a nest on the roof for Hiro, which was just a blanket fort with many blankets and pillows.

That's where I last left off with his lore. Next week, I might introduce Kaisei, Icarus, or someone completely new.
