Nothing will ever make me smile more then the fact Adachi legitimately said, “Kyoya is a good boy.” when describing him in one of his comics.   

THAT PHRASE MAKES ME WANT TO SNUGGLE HIM. HE’S A GOOD LION BOY, HE JUST LIKES TO BE A LITTLE EDGE LORD TOO. 

“Shall I eliminate the threat for you, Nile?”

“…No, Horuseus, that isn’t necessary. At all.”

“As you wish.”

so this is kind of an AU? a few years after the last season, and things are all settling down again. the bladers actually go to school and stuff. but one of the strangest things happens on the fifth anniversary of nemesis’s defeat. the spirits within beys… begin appearing beside their bladers?

granted, it’s only a few people who can suddenly see their spirits beside them, and it’s thought that only people with the strongest connections with their beys can do so. for some of them, it goes beyond simple sight, and they’re able to communicate with their beys’ spirits.

it’s also said that at some point, if you develop a strong enough bond with another blader, then you’re able to see their bey’s spirit. very rarely has this happened, though.

spirits aren’t really tangible. bladers who are able to see their spirits and communicate with them can kind of feel when they’re spirit touches them, or pokes their arm playfully. it’s light and has no weight behind it, which is weird, since they can feel the touch. for some spirits with immense power, they’re able to channel their abilities into reality.

i suppose horuseus probably wouldn’t ever carry out a threat or actually do something to harm anybody else unless they were actively endangering nile, so.

i’d imagine that horuseus is a wise, but ridiculously cheeky spirit. he speaks formally all the time, even when he prods at nile in amusement.  he likes joking around with nile and being kind of :p hehe, but he’s the kind of spirit to say it in a monotonous way that nile has grown quite fond of. he quite enjoys being companions with nile; the boy (horuseus is old, and to him, every human blader is basically a child) might be his favorite blader he’s ever had a connection with.
