Honestly I'm a little worried about the newer music coming out, so I'm hoping this will be a good album. I was a classic Crybaby, preferring her first album and tolerating the after school ep. This disassociation from what made me love her scares me.

the fact they seem 2 have completely doubled down on the fairycore spiritualistic aesthetic/lyricism that was all over... everything she did in the after school era

Feral pigeons are not the same as feral cats and dont know why anyone would compare the two. They are completely different species with vastly different impacts and public treatment.
In america it is completely legal for you to brutally maime a pigeon and even capture video of it if its for the purpose of the loosely defined term "pest control"
It is completely legal to use them to train dogs a process that is inhumane and extremely stressful for pigeons. Dogs are allowed and able to get a hold of the birds and tear them to pieces. If its a kill/cull pigeon they shoot at it while it tries to escape and if they only injure the bird they dont care.
Pigeons have an extremely small amount of pigeon specific rescues. Really only 3 well known ones here.
Cats and dogs on the other hand have around 3,500 brick and mortar animal shelters and around 10000 rescue groups!
The biggest issue for feral pigeons is that they are nuisance animals for humans. Their poop is acidic due to constant starvation.
Contrary to popular belief its hard for pigeons to carry and spread the Avian flu. Pigeons, like starlings, rats, and rabbits are extremely resistant to it. Some of the biggest bird vectors are waterfowl and chickens not pigeons.
Pigeons biggest environmental impact is that they can spread Canker to birds of prey. At the same time if you removed all feral pigeons fron urban environments birds of prey and other urbanized native predators would suffer greatly.
The solution to the feral pigeon problem is to build managed hatch controlled lofts for ferals, this has been proven time and time again for reducing their nuisance issues and decreasing their population in a humane way. This also allows birds of prey time to find other stable food sources and allows bird infected with canker to be removed and treated or euthanized.
Pigeons absolutely need more positive attention to help this happen.
Feral cats on the other hand decimate small animal populations on a large scale and are not preyed on by predators in any impactful way to their populations. Feral and outdoor cats have been directly responsible for the endangering and extinction of multiple different species.
TNR Feral cat colonies do nothing to stop any of this behavior or stop any cat nuisance behavior.
A feral cat lives an awful life just like a feral pigeon but unlike a pigeon a cat can dangerously injure you and even kill you via infection and doesnt have as easily managed behaviors in a household setting.
That is why people want to spread awareness for feral pigeons and why those same people such as myself can also be pro feral culling.
I have seen plenty of ferals during my time working for the shelter and from living in an urban environment and those cats are dangerous,unhappy,unhealthy, and stressed beyond belief, putting them down is a kindness not a cruelty.
By allowing that to happen the cats that can be saved have the resources for it.
So i will reiterate that they are simply not comparable. Pigeons have very little rescues, shelters, and resources for the public to understand them. Cats have plenty.

If your child was forced to offer labour, services or go thru strain and fear to gain basic necessities from you, you’re an abuser.
If your child had to fight to deserve to be part of your family, or to have you even acknowledge them, you’re an abuser.
If your child had no safety, support, security or love in your home, you’re an abuser.
If your child lived in fear of being kicked out, humiliated and abandoned by you, you’re an abuser.
If all you taught your child was how it feels to be hated, you’re an abuser.
If you refuse to acknowledge even for a second that you put your child thru all that suffering and fear, and still try to paint yourself as a benefactor in your child’s life, you’re an abuser and a liar.
No child has ever deserved any of this.
