the first time it supposedly happened, he dismissed it as a rumor his fans had started in spite of the recent news of you being pregnant.

you, being the amazing wife you were, believed his every word.

the second time it happened, it was a different girl. a girl from some rookie group. he always told you how much he loved giving the rookies advice on the idol world. something you could never relate to.

now you see that he liked to give them more than just advice.

his excuse that time? you had just given birth to his second child and he missed the sex.

you, being the amazing wife you were, forgave him and moved on.

so when jimin had sent you a video of that same rookie walking into the bighit building, accompanied by your husband, and father of your children, you weren’t even surprised. the first thing you did when you saw their hands interlocked together was grab taehyung’s suitcase and shove as much stuff as you could into there. not caring how many designer things he cherished would get crumpled or ruined.

presently, you were sat on one side of the couch and he was sat on the opposite end, looking as guilty as ever as he fiddled with the rings accompanying his fingers.

“how long?” you asked, keeping your eyes trained on the floor as your arms draped around your legs, holding them up against your chest.

“two months.” his voice sounded strained and you could feel his gaze on you as you were silent for a couple minutes, really basking in the fact that he was doing this for a while now.

you didn’t have words, so you just laughed. it probably looked and sounded ridiculous considering the situation, but you didn’t care. you were the victim here and however you took it was your choice.

“no excuses now, huh?” you poke your tongue in your cheek and meet his gaze, a petty kind of smirk on your face.

you cut him off, “while i was here, taking care of your children when i could have been out chasing my dreams, just like you...you were sticking your cock in some rookie bitch, trying to catch a nut wherever you could since i’m not good enough for you anymore.”

you hadn’t even known you were crying until you were done speaking, but you didn’t tear your gaze away or move another limb as you stared eye to eye with your husband.

he licked his lips and swallowed thickly, the sound honestly making you want to slap him. “i’m sorry.” is all he says. that makes you scoff and you turn your attention back in front of you, too angered to look at him anymore.

“i’m sorry.” you mock his deep, pitiful voice and shake your head. “honestly, where the fuck did we go wrong?” you rhetorically ask. “why can’t we just go back to the way things were?”

he keeps his gaze on you, unsure himself as to what to say. it’s quiet for a couple minutes, making both of you equally anxious as you dread your next words. the words that would change yours and your kids lives forever. words that no wife should or wants to say to her husband. but you remember how terrible taehyung treated you this whole time he was fucking that girl behind your back and coming home the same night to tell you that he loved you before he went to sleep, and you turn to face him fully.
