[Corvus sharply turned his head, all 4 eyes were focused on Corvus as he cocked his head to the side. A human..? ..A human. Another human… oh no. Was this human going to hurt him too? Hissing almost, Corvus backed away with his feathers puffed up in warning despite being around 10 times bigger. He felt scared angry. He had been hurt so much… why would this human be any different. No. They were all the same.]

[His suddenly snarled, rearing up and storming his claws into the ground below violently. A warning, not one of anger but of weariness and of fear.]

[He was so scared.]

[he didn’t know who to trust anymore, he thought perhaps he could have trusted HQ. That man had only hurt him, turned him into THIS.]

[Corvus let go of Sebastian, wincing at the grip that he had on his arm. He could feel the collar under his feathers beep, the sound quiet but enough for Sebastian to hear] ''I should go.''

[He said- he had to get back before HQ hurt him even more. he didn't want to be hurt again and again and again and aga-]

[Without realising it he was hyperventilating, suddenly everything seemed too small.. too close.]

[He backed away- the collar. HE HAD TO GET IT OFF. IT WAS TOO TIGHT. PLEASE- PLEASE.]

''GET IT OFF- I- I CAN'T BREATHE- I CAN'T- PLEASE-''

[His voice suddenly lost that mature tone, like a child that was pretending to fake his voice. It became a lot smaller- more terrified.]

[How long had it been since he had cried like this. Perhaps when his papa was dragged away from him so long ago and thrown into that submarine- never to be seen again.]

[Sebastian jerked back in alarm- Was this little beast a child? Did Urbanshade really stoop so low? Of course they would. Focus on the kid. Panic attack? Bill taught him how to deal with those. Hopefully they would work for the bird as well.]

"Kid. Look at me."

[He held out a claw, curling it. Don't provide a way to harm. Prevent.]

"Breathe in. 4 seconds. Nice and slow."

[Provide repetitive movements. Speak simply.]

"Tap on my claw to the beat of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Hold that breath for 4 seconds"

[He waited a few seconds, humming the lullaby.]

"Breathe out. 4 seconds."

[Why was a child trapped in this hell. Why did they put a shock collar on a child. What did they do to deserve this?]

"How hold that for 4 seconds."

[It WILL be okay, little bird. YOU will be okay.]

"Now breathe in again. 4 seconds."

[Why was this human being nice to him. WHY. He didn’t understand- he was a monster. A beast, designed to kill. His humanity was long gone yet… he still yearned deep down for someone to understand him. To understand his pain and anger that he felt daily.]

[Feeling extremely confused- he reared down. He couldn’t understand what this human was saying but he could hear his tone of voice. It was… gentle. Almost soothing. He tried to speak, to shout but all that came out was a screech and hot tears that gushed from all 4 eyes. How pathetic he looked. HQ would punish him for this weakness later, he knew as the collar on his neck gave a menacing beep reminding him of his situation.]
