Ok Heart is of course my favorite but can we talk about Soul?

He's a super interesting character who the more you look into him the better he gets. His songs are fantastic. His character deals with topics like suicide in a really grounded way that feels genuine in a way I don't see often. Not to mention how tragic his entire character is from the perspective of the loop.

Then he does shit like start his songs with "Yo!" And "What up mother fuckers!" And he makes chicken puns, and goes through 2 cases of sugar free monster in a month, and does kickflips on his trident.

He really is the character ever.

Short answer: no. He has not seen Soul around, recently.

Ages ago when i first got into Chonny Jash (when i really only knew him from The Mind Electric covers he did bc i was animating to it) I saw a comment on that video that said something along the lines of “i think it’s really interesting how The Mind looks down upon The Heart for being so emotional when his own lines of the song are inherently filled with emotion” and i. I haven’t stopped thinking about that since.
