Im calling this the faberry files cos I feel like a spy when I'm really just very gay

This is just basically timestamps of every faberry moment I could find as I was rewatching season 1-3. I don't know if anyone wants to see it but I just put it here cos why not. I wasn't really planning on posting it but here we are so it features my gay ass commentary. Anyway there u go.

-have equal expectations for everyone regarding school rules (sometimes pretty sexist aswell). Like when Marley gets suspended for not wearing her costume because it makes her feel uncomfortable, especially when she's suffered/still suffering from bulimia. Also when Santana nearly gets suspended for slapping Finn in front of a room of people when Finn in front of a room of people beats puck up and he gets nothing but sympathy

-Finn should have had some repercussions for outing Santana. He knew what he was doing, it was in the middle of a crowded hallway in a quite homophobic school. Im not sure if he even apologised or anything. I think the show does well with some messages/situations but this one was completely missed.

let’s list a couple of the ways that we wish we could change the show. reblog is you wanna add anything.

i’ll start: 

- When Kurt and Blaine get locked in the fake elevator, Burt should come looking for Kurt. It just doesn’t make sense to me that (as far as seen in canon) this didn’t happen.

- I don’t think they should’ve sung i kissed a girl in the episode where Santana comes out to her abuela. That just seems like an insensitive song choice to me. Also, it shouldn’t have been a duet between Santana and Rachel. At the very least it should’ve been a Brittana duet, but I think it would work best as a solo for Santana.

- Give faberry a chance. I personally don’t ship faberry as much as others, but there were a lot of scenes between those two that were full of sexual tension. I think it would be really interesting if Quinn and Rachel had dated.

- No more biphobic comments. I know the show was made like 10 years ago, but for a show that’s about loving and accepting everyone for who they are, they made a lot of biphobic comments.

Glee Rant 2x11 (The Sue Sylvester Shuffle)

I was watching when Beiste and Schue decided to put the Glee Club and Football Team together and I just realised how crappy it was. Well, I guess I already knew it was pretty bad but I felt the need to rant about it and I haven't seen anyone else talk about it really so here we are lol

So in this part Mr Schue says “I talked to Coach Beiste about it and the kind of bullying David does is born out of ignorance” and he tells them to “find some common ground” even if they dont like it.

And I get it, they were trying to unite the football team but couldn't they have at least talked to them before? or warned them?

In fact literally one episode before Will goes to visit Kurt at Dalton, in which his only reason for going was shopping advice for sue’s secret Santa 

(also think Will hugging Kurt is creepy and weird but thats not something I want to get into in this. Also, everyone already knows he's creepy by now, anyway, just wanted to mention that as a bonus to my anti will post lol)

If he can travel all that way (I saw in a reddit post that they'd figured out it was about 1h30m drive away but idk if thats right) just to ask about a Christmas present surely he could ask Kurt his opinion on it. 

I know asking an ex-student advice on teaching (although he seems friendly enough to ask about trivial matters like secret Santas) might be a little odd but him and Beiste hadn't been the target of Karofsky’s bullying. Surely asking the person who was literally bullied out of the school by him if he thinks its a good idea to put him in the glee club would be a better idea than just talking to his coach? Or talking to the students and explaining his point of view before practically forcing them into sharing what's supposed to be a safe place where they can express and be themselves with their worse tormentors. 

I get a lot of the bullying in glee was played down and the teachers didn't do much but will at least seemed like he was trying to be sympathetic sometimes. 

Also, one of his famous quotes, “you're all minorities. Youre in the glee club” as god awful as it is, it at least shows that he knows the students feel like outsiders and that this is one of the places (and for some of them the only place) they can be themselves. 

But for some reason, after one conversation with Beiste, he decides to yeet out of the window basically the only thing he had going for him as a teacher/ guardian and fill that safe space with their tormentors. 

Also, as much as I love Beiste usually, at one point (not in this episode I think) she says she was bullied for not being like other kids. Then maybe she could have put herself in their shoes and realised they might not want to be in that situation where the only way they didn't have to spend a week working closely with and enduring their bullies was for them to leave the club for a week. A club which they actually enjoyed and felt safe and a part of rather than the rest of their school lives. 

So to try and conclude this because I feel like its already gone on too long and thankyou for reading this far, I know its messy but so’s the writing of this show so I guess im just staying on theme? Even if they weren't sympathetic enough to their student’s situation (which they should be) to even consult them, surely Beiste could be empathetic and find it fairly easy to put herself in their shoes and figure out they might not want to be forced into being in a room filled with people who made their lives hell. (Also couldn't find it but I swear mr Schue mentioned how he was bullied in high school, but im not completely sure so im not going to say the same for him. However, you dont have to go through the same thing as someone to be empathetic towards them so he's still a twat, but we knew that already).
