bc buck is only open with his acceptable and easy to digest emotions and complicated or less appealing emotions are kept away from the people watching him until he bursts that’s emotional damage babeyyy t: 911 mmmmmmmmm love this song vs eddie who grew up in a household where i don’t want to say anger was encouraged exactly but like anger is an acceptable male emotion TM so he’s always been good at expressing his anger specifically but buck was raised in a very different environment and fostered a very different relationship with his emotions and how to use them and easily digestible emotions are more acceptable and make people like you more at least superficially but it’s also the complicated relationship with was it really that bad/do I really deserve to feel this way/etc bc we also already know that he struggles with his perception of his family environment and whether or not anything abt his growing up was actually u know as bad as it feels sometimes so maybe he’s just overreacting etc u know emotional damage emotional damage
