My Apple Pencil recently broke and because of money I’ll have to wait till I can afford a whole new iPad that costs like 1.3k so if posts on Blood Drawn By Love weren’t already slow their gonna get slower bc I don’t draw traditionally too much but now I’m bound by fate to draw with this medium 💀

Spark(y) Ezhrat. His full legal first name is Sparky but he tells people it’s just Spark.

Now I’m not entirely sure if it’s just the preview but if this image is low res I apologize. Also this drawing is sorta old? I remember being dissatisfied with the colors so like with literally everyone coming forward this is not their 100% I’m sold design :)

Spark is Zelous’ half brother, being part incubus and part a custom demon race I’ve made and will expand upon in the future.

His father had him for the same reason he had most of his many kids; to see what would happen if the two demon races had a child. Quickly he was deemed nothing special and kicked out, having to fend for himself and nearly starving to death once (Demon eating habits are much different than humans. I should probably follow up this post with world building info)

From a stream of considerably lucky and unlucky events he was tasked with taking care of 3 orphaned pups, those then becoming his best friends. (They look like Borzois for the most part)

He can get offended and in over his head quite easily with a brash temper but as long as you kiss up to him (basically act like a 14yo girl meeting Justin Bieber in 2014) he’s easily charmed.

He’ll do anything as long as you pay him and he does it well.

Zelous doesn’t know much about his existence though it’s not like their entirely strangers.

Haven’t posted in awhile. Mainly bc I draw something from this lil game and I’m like ‘I’ll post it when it’s finished like a professional 😋’ and then don’t finish it. I rarely draw traditionally but I still have it in me!! (FLY WIGGUSUS FLY) maybe I’ll continue this lil thing digitally or finish just this drawing but who knows!

Introducing..

Not sure how to start this, especially since I don’t want to capture a super professional look.

This is the start of my blog(is that what you guys call it? I’m very new to Tumblr) to record the development of my dating sim BloodDrawnByLove as well as for my personal use.

This isn’t a super professional and nearly finished thing by any means and I’m just working on this when I feel like it, so for all I know this will be my first and last post. Hell, I didn’t even make the image above, I used Looka to generate it since I felt like just a block of text would be uninteresting and I didn’t feel like grabbing my iPad again.

hii! It’s been awhile :) I will be coming at you with a new art piece soon! Hopefully multiple actually, most of which will be paired with world-building expos.

I recently commissioned someone for a logo of Blood Drawn by Love!! I should get it soon and when I do I’ll be sure to post it. It’ll serve as a watermark for all my future art related to BDBL which I think is cool. the person making it is @riihime and she’s been so sweet throughout this whole process, I recommend checking her out and supporting her!

Thinking about how when it was 2015 and I watched those comic-dubs on my TV on YT and wondered where the OG comic was and how come all the people asking questions are named 'anon'. Did the creator not want the asker-s name to get out? I didn't even know what tumblr was at the time, but I dreamed so hard of an ask series and I think that's where I got my 'comments and questions are the 100% best kickstart for me to having motivation for something'. I still want an ask series 😔
