Hello! Thank you for the question; let’s hope my answer makes sense.

For me at least, Delusion of the Endless is just an AU version of Dream if he swapped places with Delirium. What I had in mind was “Everything in Brief Lives is the same except Dream and Delirium switch places”. Mainly out of love for the trope of when two characters have polar opposite aesthetics interact or in this case, switch.

I’ve seen others say that Delusion is what would happen if Dream 'cracked' just like how Delight became Delirium.
