The Fact That Groot Didn't Actually Say "I Love You Guys" But We Just Finally Learned How To Understand

The fact that Groot didn't actually say "I love you guys" but we just finally learned how to understand him because we spent a lot of time with him......... I'm gonna cry about this for the rest of my life thanks

I’m supposed to be finishing my lunch and getting back to work but instead I’m thinking about how soft and gentle and reassuring Ed sounded when he told Stede his crew was okay and my entire being just exploded.

That was their first real conversation!!! (Not counting the “you heard of me???” because baby was floating around in another plane of existence both from blood loss and the high of being recognized.)

Their very first conversation and Ed is so loving and soothing. He’s making moves to care for Stede, both physically and emotionally.

Can you imagine what it’s going to be like in the future, now that they’re in love? Can you imagine how Ed will react to the next time Stede is sick or injured? Can you imagine the protectiveness? The tenderness?

Honestly I may just have to call out of work for the afternoon because I’m about to make like Stede after seeing the handsome pirate lover of his dreams standing over him and pass out.

I'm gonna make a list of my favourite interactions between characters in OFMD (gay interactions, to be specific):

-How Ed looks at Stede all the time. The intimacy of the looks, yet most of the time Stede doesn't realize it.

-In the bathtub scene, how Stede puts his hand near Ed's head, and how Ed takes this as an opportunity to rest his head in said hand. Again, intimacy.

-How Pete calls Lucius "Love".

-Olu telling Jim about the possibility of being family for him.

-When Stede is about to get killed by the english, how Ed tries to stay in front of him, trying to protect him over all costs.

-The tenderness of both Lucius x Pete and Stede x Ed kisses, and the passion in Jim x Olu's one.

I'll make a second part if I get more ideas

What if the next time they meet, Crowley says those words again? And this time they really are directed at his angel.

This idea came to me while I was trying to fall asleep last week and I couldn’t rest until I drew it. Sorry haha
