There was an uncomfortable prickle crawling up her spine. It happened a lot here in Gotham. Out in the woods, it usually only happened when she found herself in the presence of a bear or mountain lion… things that would kill her given the right hunger and desperation.

This man was… dangerous. …but dangerous or not, her singing should still affect him, if it came to that. He didn't seem to be anything more than human.

“Yeah. Bone and blood, like an arm or leg. But I guess you've seen stranger things; this is Gotham, after all,” she said (even if she was still getting used to the idea). 

some thoughts on Sen and instincts.

Yes shiny things and sudden movement catch her eye, yes the scent of human blood catches her attention, yes during the spring she's more likely to home in on certain things because it's That Season

But she's not an animal. She's not a slave to her instincts. She's quite able to reel herself in and not drop herself into a potential trap just because it's been properly baited (even if that might take some effort if she's already stressed and hungry).

That said, she's more liable to be effectively baited by her emotions than her instincts (for better or worse).

Her throat is scratchy, and she's got a cough. Great.

She probably caught it at work... now she just has to decide whether to call out or grab a mask.
