Kaltenecker headcanons!

• The paladins have classified kaltenecker to be a cow but- • Is she really a cow?? like they got her from a SPACE MALL for quiznak's sake so she could be part alien or something • lance: she looks like a cow, moos like a cow, and acts like a cow. she's probably a cow. • hunk: yeah, but keith looks like a human, talks like a human, and usually acts like a human. he's half galran. • lance: touche • so anyways the team is like, 89% sure kaltenecker is an actual cow. • lance spends the most time with kaltenecker, which isn't very surprising • he just likes that he just has something familiar to be around and it's like he has a little bit of home with him • some nights, when he's not too tired, he will read to kaltenecker whatever books he can find and translate • it helps lance practice his altean, and he gets to spend time with his favorite gal • lance: *points to a page in his book* hey kaltenecker, do think this means table or puppet? i dunno man, they look too similar... • kaltenecker: moooo • lance: puppet it is. thanks, sweetie. • other times, lance will go see kaltenecker to milk her for milkshakes or to just sit and share late night gossip with her • their conversations are pretty one-sided but hey, it's still nice • lance doesn't really tend to bring anyone along with him to meet kaltenecker because he kinda enjoys his alone time with her • that being said, he's not the only one who meets kaltenecker on a somewhat regular basis • pidge hangs with kaltenecker the second-most • she enjoys the quite workspace and often fiddles on her own personal projects the kaltenecker area • she doesn't really talk to kaltenecker, but she does talk to herself, which usually earns a moo or two from kaltenecker • pidge: dang it. that wasn't supposed to happen. • kaltenecker: mooo • pidge: yeah, yeah, ok lemme just adjust this real quick • allura and coran almost never meet up with kaltenecker. not after the Milking Incident. • allura after witnessing how her positively divine milkshakes are made: oh dear it seems I have important business to attend too! fare well, kaltenecker enjoy your stay. see you soon! • allura: i'm never going in there again • SO ANYWAY • after him and keith start dating, lance decides that he wants to bring his boyfriend to some of his hang out sessions with kaltenecker • keith: what if she doesn't like me? • lance: she's a cow. she's not gonna call you ugly now come on. • keith: but- • lance: abupbupbup! no "buts" we're going • keith actually does enjoy hanging out with kaltenecker though, and if it makes lance happy, it's totally worth it • one night, lance is reading to kaltenecker and Keith decides to join him • it was so much fun because they shared corny jokes with kaltenecker and keith, who doesn't know much altean, messes up a lot of the passages in the book • lance: it's like we have our own little translator fails video! • keith: yeah but why do the people in this book want to drink their socks? • eventually, they get tired and end up spending the night in kaltenecker's pen by accident • hunk and shiro find them the next morning all cuddled up next to kaltenecker • hunk: aww ok *whispers* we shouldn't disturb them let's go • shiro: nah they need to train WAKE UP • so anyways keith is mad at shiro for the day • kaltenecker, who saw the whole ordeal: moo
