Hello! This is totally random, but I thought I’d ask anyway. Are you still planning to post the insecure omega Pete AU? I remember you posting snippets and loving them.

Typing this while I commute to work this fine morning and definitely not getting emotional about it 😭

But yes! Thank you so much for asking, I'm honoured that you remember as I know it's been a while since I've posted anything about it - but I definitely do plan on posting it as soon as it's finished!

Essentially what happened was it got a lot bigger than I first anticipated (good news for some!) But that means a lot more work to pull it off with the kind of dedication and care it deserves, and I'm a perfectionist at heart, so I have still been working on it all this time to get it just right.

My schedule has generally just been packed at this time of year, between my main job and the two side-hustles I have, and finding time and mental energy to write has been a lot!

As well as that, I have several bigger fics that were part of commissions or exchanges that I felt the need to focus on for now, and so I pretty much stopped writing anything else until they're completed. Though the odd one shot here or there captured my attention and gave me a break from the big works, I'll admit!

I'm hoping that I will be able to put the first fic (because there's several in a series now) out in early 2024 so keep your eyes peeled for that! Otherwise keep a close eye on my twitter (@bluestjayy) because I may drop some new snippets in the next few days to wet your appetites and remind you it's still alive and thriving in my heart.

Thanks for asking, it means a lot that people remember the things I write, even if it's just through the odd snippet on twitter it's really made my day to know someone is still thinking about it 💞
