Help Us Evacuate Gaza
Hello everyone, I am Ghazi Alamoudi from the northern Gaza Strip, displaced in Deir Al-Balah, and living in a tent with my family.😢🥺
My family and I are facing unimaginable hardship due to the ongoing war in Gaza. We have lost our home, my career, and our sense of safety. Now, we are living in a small tent, trying to survive each day amidst the chaos and destruction.
Before the war, I worked as an instructional designer, building a future for my family. But that life has been shattered. We are now desperate to find safety and start over. But we need your help. We are trying to raise funds to escape Gaza and rebuild our lives in a place where we can finally find peace.
Before — This was my life before the war, filled with hope and promise.
After — This is what remains after the destruction.
What once stood as a symbol of hope, my Home is now nothing but shattered walls and debris. I had just finished building our home, a place where I could finally feel safe. But in the blink of an eye, everything was destroyed by the ongoing war. The sounds of explosions filled the air, and I fled with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Now, where our memories and dreams once lived, all that remains is devastation.

hope the extremely long hiatus makes sense now lol I've had the gif sketched out for like a year now but ive just been putting it off and putting it off. And even when I got to The Week Of The Chapter, i became so unmotivated by the idea of completing it that my one piece drawing hyperfixation like fizzled out of existence and i moved to OC art.
Then one night I was complaining about it to some friends, like "can you believe i took 2 years of college in a 3D and Animation major to become an animator??? i cant even get through a 26 frame animation of a project that i love!" and then that night i cranked out the entire rest of the line art and some of the coloring, like 15 frames wtf was i on. i think i simply needed to complain about it to get it done.
anyway, im so glad to finally have this out, im so excited for you guys to see it. :))))))

NO TIME LEFT FOR A PREGNANT WOMAN AND CANCER PATIENT IN GAZA
This is Ashley, my old blog was palentonga. My blog was terminated a few weeks ago, almost certainly due to the rash of falsely reporting Palestinians and their supporters as being scammers. I asked my friend Lauren (me) to post this while I'm off tumblr. I'm making this post on behalf of @lailashaqoura and her family, whose campaigns I had been trying to support before my blog was terminated. Laila's fundraiser is listed as number 152 on the vetted fundraiser list, under the name Bassam Shaqoura. Laila is an eighteen year-old girl who is attempting to survive the ongoing genocide with her siblings and her pregnant mother. Her cousin, Tala, whose blog has been terminated, is also struggling with her siblings and her cancer-stricken mother. Their campaigns have been lagging severely lately, and need all the help they can get to continue. Border crossings are rare, but things still cost money in Gaza, and they need to be able to support themselves + have some money saved up in case they get the opportunity to escape. Conditions in Gaze have been getting worse and worse, and I fear every day for Laila and her mother.
I and several other artists, including @mimibayra , @theflowerpaw, @worthyofmygrace, @soapfriendotake2, and @rebecca-levin-art, are offering commissions in exchange for donations to Laila and Tala's campaigns, examples linked HERE. If that interests you, DM me on Discord @ palentonga or DM their blogs. Please, do what you can to share these posts. I've seen engagement in these campaigns and others drop severely these past few months, but even if the Palestinian genocide has grown old to you, fresh blood is being shed every day, and the survivors are entitled to any possible assistance we can give them.
I'm setting 30k as a short-term goal for Laila and 15k as a short-term goal for Tala, please do everything you can to help them survive.
