My Daughter Left The Nest And Returned An S-Rank Adventurer
My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer
After losing his leg as a startup adventurer, he retired to his hometown in the countryside. Doing things such as collecting medicinal herbs, exterminating magic beasts and wild beasts, and helping with the villagers’ farm work, it’s hard to decide whether to call our protagonist an adventurer or a handyman. And while doing these things his age quickly approached thirty.
One day while searching the mountains for herbs, he discovered an abandoned child. Thinking that he couldn’t just leave it, he took it home and raised it until his age approached forty. His now grown-up daughter had also wanted to become an adventurer, likely from growing up watching her father. Although her father had taught her the sword since she was young for self-defense, her talent at it was quite impressive. Thinking that it would be better for her not to be stuck out in the country for the rest of her life, our protagonist sent her to the adventurers’ guild in the Capital. His daughter officially became an adventurer.
After another five years, the protagonist, now in his forties, is still acting as a pseudo-adventurer in the countryside. However his daughter is now a distinguished S Class adventurer but hasn’t returned home once yet… “Just when will I get to see Daddy again…!?”
Manga Descriptions are so long but they tell you all you choude need to know about the manga. I love how in all ways but in her training the father is doting and loving. I love the daughters' team, they have some fantasy racism but it does not become a large part of the story. The littel girl that has the mage body garde is vary interesting. Thare take on monsters is interesting, as they talk abot them as if they are animals that are just a part of the world.

What Do You Wish for With Muddy Eyes-manga
One day, Raizou Takakura, an average salaryman, had a heart attack and his life ended that day. But, he got a second life in a different world. Reincarnated with strong skills― wasn't what happened to him. Instead, he was reincarnated as a foot soldier in a small country, Highserk Empire, which is surrounded by large countries. With a new name, Walm, he was thrown into the frontlines of a war. Covered in blood and stench of death, along his comrades, he was slipping through the life-or-death situations This reincarnation manga does things fairly different then the rest. There is no screen that pops up when you say stats or inventory, you have to feel the skill as it is a part of you. I really like the main character as he has a bit of a hard time willing to kill others still up to the latest chapter. Eavan after he gets a rather strong skill. There is another reincarnation manga that does show you the fear of killing others but after the first time it is brought up it is dropped and just turns in to another war strategy manga.
I am in eskew
Eskew is a city of steep and winding streets, where the rain seemingly never stops and the buildings change at will. David, the narrator, is from our world, but has found himself trapped in this living, murderous city, unable to find his way home. With escape impossible, David documents his bizarre, often mind-bending experiences in a series of endless recording, hoping that someone – anyone – will hear them I have so much love for this podcast but my god do i not understand what is going on, i think about it like house of leaves, i do not understand and could not tell you what was going on in the late end but that is the best part. The female narrator has the best parts when she speaks to the mother of the main character it is the best.
autocorrect and the record
I read “Autocorrect” by Ellen Xu and listened to “The Record” by Boygenius, and I think that doing this it has uplifted both autocorrect and the record and made them better in my eyes. Both are about connections with others and wanting to be with them.
In Autocorrect, Ellen speaks about her relationship with her father. Their relationships began to strain from the stress of her father living in another country to work, all the way in China. She talks about how sad and angry she is from her father's choice, and how all the promises he made are now null and void. She says
“I just had my first driving lesson today and don’t you remember promising me years ago that you would be the one to teach me to drive”
This line hit me like a hurricane hits a straw house.
The first song on The Record “Without You Without Them” is about how the singer would not be the same person without their partner's parents but their grandparents.
“Thank your father before you
His mother before him
Who would I be without you, without them?”
This shows what to know about another person to not only know them but their history, they thank their partner's ancestors, saying they would not be the same person without them. Later in the song they speak about the want to be known and to know someone else
“Speak to me, speak to me, speak to me
Until your history's no mystery to me”
“I want you to hear my story and be a part of it”
Both speak of a want to understand the other to be close to them, the want to know them. With the record, it’s the want to be known and know, with Autocorrect it is the want to be with someone and share a history. Both of these texts have similar themes and that is why i think they bring out the best in each other, like players in a game of basketball when alone they can work but when together they will win.
Badlands cola
Badlands Cola is a cinematic mystery/horror audio drama about eldritch fossils, hate-flirting, and liminal nightmares that yawn wide in the night. In a desert town full of strange fossils and even stranger people, a hard-hearted PI and a broken-down radio DJ attempt to dig up the skeletal past of a cult before it can reform. I don't think this podcast is that good. It has some interesting things that they could have gone further into like the house or the repeating town. I feel like the podcast goes too much on the “hate-flirting” and not on the horror of bone gods and house of leaves style homes. There are a lot of hooks none of them are baited correctly so i just don't what to bite
Is the destination a hero or a demon king?-manga
Mamiya Yuuto was transported into another world after hearing those words, but all he got out of it was a younger body and the ability to see his status screen at any time — in overwhelming detail. Survive in a different world with skills and magic, armed with the experience of working life and the knowledge and perseverance of a retired gamer!
If you look at all the manga I have reviewed, I really like other world manga. This world does have a system which doesn't have to be bad and it does look like that the demon king is just a part of the world that folks know of and is more like what party you follow. As this manga is still being translated i have hope for it and i what to see more.
