I have a lot more faith in Disenchanted than in most remakes and nostalgic sequels, because I think it has a genius premise. “So Giselle wishes for her life to be a fairytale, but since she’s now a stepmom, and in fairytales stepmothers are always evil, she’s in real danger of completely transforming into a villain-” YES. THAT’S A FANTASTIC IDEA. I ACTUALLY WANT TO SEE THIS. TAKE MY MONEY, YOU SOULLESS CORPORATION.
