There is a tendency in some twst fans to just refuse to admit their favorite character has flaws and do things they shouldn’t sometimes.

Vil is not an evil monster, and he’s determined and independent, but he does make overly harsh comments and is overly controlling sometimes

I love Leona, and he wasn’t born as a lazy slob who doesn’t care about anything. He is extremely intelligent and talented, but he does get people to do his chores and doesn’t have the best attendance record.

Idia is a genius and very passionate about his interests, but he also is very argumentative when he’s upset and doesn’t attend to his dorm much.

I LOVE Sebek, he is very loyal and passionate, but he can be quite rude and brash, especially to anyone who disagrees with him or Malleus

Even Silver is very kind and forgiving, but he is pretty dense and not very assertive or commanding

Even KALIM is very generous and friendly, but he is not aware or other people’s feelings and overly naive.

Saying characters have flaws is not saying you hate or purposely misunderstand a character, or that you are dissing people’s headcanons or interpretations. I just feel like I’ve seen a lot of fans that just can’t stand their favorite characters having flaws and not being perfect ☹️
