So there’s a blm leader from Rhode Island endorsing Trump. I bet Trump will embrace it even though he called blm “terrorists”
I would absolutely support letting Venezuela get CITGO back and letting them sell oil to the US in exchange for them recognizing Guyana’s territorial integrity. But that would require officially declaring that we think avoiding war is more important than appeasing single issue anti-“socialism” voters in Florida. And hey, get gas prices down and counter the Saudis. If we can get Venezuela to agree to a free and fair, internationally monitored election while also getting them to reverse chauvinistic claims over Guyana’s territory, and also get gas prices down and counter the influence of the House of Saud, win-win-win. Biden just needs to recognize that there are far more single issue gas price voters and that avoiding war in our hemisphere appeals to far more voters all across the country than single issue anti-“socialism” voters mostly in Florida exclusively.
The one argument I don’t understand from some “police abolitionists” is being particularly against the professionalization of policing. Like, your issue seems to be that policing was okay until it was professionalized? So you think that a volunteer constable aka a local despot or a bunch of vigilantes/sheriff’s posse was somehow good? That’s like the dumbest argument I’ve heard.
George Santos bringing down Republicans by spilling the tea. He really is our strongest soldier…
