So what I want to know is:

Since the petition “Let’s make the Joker gay again” (https://www.change.org/p/make-the-joker-gay-again) becomes popular among different DC-themed blogs and communities, I find more and more comments about it. And of course, there’s a LOT of arguing. Most people find the petition silly, they insist that Joker is definitely not gay and so on.

Okay, I just can’t keep silence, cause I was the one who actively supported the petition (and still doing it). The most popular explanation I see is surely Joker’s “relationship” with Harley Quinn; also there’s a mentioning about Joker’s wife from “The Killing Joke”, and EVEN the unproved fact about how Joker raped Barbara (which wouldn’t prove his heterosexuality, even if it were true). Some people also say that the Joker is simply asexual. Some call him bisexual. There are a lot of opinions, and maybe I would even agree with “asexual” one, but…

But just let me say that Joker and Harley are NOT A COUPLE and never have been! It can’t even be an argument because Joker has absolutely NO FEELINGS to her. Maybe we can’t be completely sure if the Joker is gay or not, but let’s just don’t say such ill-considered things as “The Joker is straight because he has Harley Quinn”

Sooo… The saddest thing about all those discussions is how DC fans treat each other. At the end, we all love comics and comic characters…

But anyway, I’m still having my own opinion. And I don’t mean to offend anyone by saying this, but seriously guys, let’s just admit that there’s NOTHING straight about this:
