A Horseman’s Hammer. Commission work Very loosely inspired by the beautiful M.538-1956 kept at the Victoria and Albert Museum, but the customer liked dragons, so I went for dragons, and more dragons and then some. Tool steel head with selective hardening. Steel plates over wooden core. All surfaces etched with….dragons. Grip is leather over wood with silver wire. OAL 635 mm, head is 115 mm wide, weight 973 g.

“My name is Tanau Aleya. I am of the anathema psykana, what used to be called a null-maiden, or – even stupider – a Sister of Silence. Who came up with those titles? Not one of our order, that’s for sure. Probably a High Lord. They’re mostly idiots.”

— The Emperor’s Legion, Chris Wraight
