the phases of neil

i’ve realized that the neil phase system created in lemonology has never really been publicly explained. it’s just a way to refer to neil’s different stages of development. (note: the cutoff dates are not exact.)

Phase 0: 1986-?

Just anything that comes before phase 1. Baby Neil, who was a baby.

Phase 1: Early 2000s

The gremlin phase. During different points in this phase, Neil dyed his hair blond, teal, and blue and was just generally a cryptid.

Phase 2: 2005-2009

Neil as he appeared in the golden age of PPP/NKotR/Lemonic Demonade. Here his hair is longer, he has glasses, and he is often seen with a fedora (an accessory which he has since decried).

Phase 2.5: ~2010

Let’s all pretend this never happened.

Phase 3: 2011-Present

The Neil we all know and love today, with the cool glasses, cool hair, and various button-up shirts.
