so what does high fashion mean for "normal" fashion? is it what colors we will see in shops? patterns? material? the only thing in my head is that scene from the devil wears prada with the cerulean top. sorry if it's a dumb question

It's definitely not a dumb question! The scene from The Devil Wears Prada explains it really well. Truth is, high fashion influences high-street fashion (”normal” fashion) in every possible way. Colour trends, patterns, materials and shapes. A lot of the time it's not so easy to notice, because regular fashion shops tend to have a permanent collection with their staple features (that isn't strongly influenced by high fashion), plus lots of  clothes inspired by other shops and with different styles, so it is hard to pinpoint what elements were influenced by high fashion, especially because one would have to be very familiar with the current runway collections.

However, I will share a trick with you. If you take a trip to the clothing shops in your area and keep your eyes peeled, you will start noticing that there are some items of clothing that show up in every shop, which all look very similar. There is a very high chance that those clothes were copied from runway collections. And I say copied because they are literally the same all throughout: shapes, colours, patterns and materials (which are usually cheaper quality, but still look similar to the original piece).

Let me demonstrate. Here are four fur cardigans by Blumarine, that have made their appereance in 2020 (they come in so many versions and colours, I am obsessed with them!)
