Agreed. There is a lot about Miraculous that I love, but holy shiitake mushrooms they just fall flat with the writing sometimes.

The beginning had so much potential and season 5 was an amazing season until that finale. I’m especially upset because Adrien always gets the back burner. He’s a central part of the show and yet they barely place any focus on him.

He really should’ve been in the finale and faced Gabriel because why make Hawkmoth be Gabriel if Adrien is never faced by it? And especially since he never learned the truth. What was the point? Where’s the payoff?

Overall, still love the show but mostly for the characters and what could’ve been.

It’s because I love ML that I Hate the season 5 finale ending.

I swear the show is trying to get us to actively hate André Glacier, like first he constantly harasses literal children for not dating the other children he thinks they should date and now he apparently doesn't even have a permit to sell his ice cream

The weird thing is that of all people, Marinette is the one to jump to his defense in "Revolution", even though all three times he was akumatized, it was because he wanted to kill her for doubting the gospel of his sacred ice cream (Glaciator, Glaciator 2, Elation).

Of all people, you would think Marinette would be the most against him, not Chloe.

Bad people are going to try and gaslight you about setting boundaries. Bad people are going to gaslight you for cutting them out of your life.

That happened to us.

When we first left a toxic friendship with an emotionally abusive person/system, we were made to believe that we were the villains. We were the ones who were in the wrong because a persecutor lashed out from the emotional abuse. Actually two persecutors lashed out. But we aren’t the villains for finally allowing ourselves to get out of the abusive relationship.

Same thing happened with different people about 6-7 years ago. Don’t let people be pissed at you for improving your own mental health. Focus on you, loves.

Hey, if people get mad at you for setting boundaries, set a new boundary with them called “get out of my life.” You are allowed to set boundaries for your mental health. You are allowed to not want to do things. You are allowed to say no. If the person you’re close to doesn’t respect those boundaries or gets mad at you for setting them, they don’t need to be in your life. We’ve learned this lesson the hard way twice now with an emotional abuser. Learn from our mistakes guys. Setting boundaries is healthy and normal in relationships. Those who tell you otherwise don’t care about you and are trying to use you.
