LAST CALL: How do you feel about the bonus footage for Are You Sure being sold as part of the photobook?

Hi, first of all thanks for running this blog I appreciate the effort you put in, but I was wondering... this is just a request not a demand... but could we maybe not do polls about romantic ships and sexual fanfics? I often scroll down the general 'polls' tag and see this blog pop up, I'm sure many random non-fans do the same... I don't think it gives a great impression of ARMY or BTS if we're having public polls about explicit rpf etc.

As I said it's your blog and your choice, but personally I think it would be better to stick to polls about BTS as artists and real people, and their amazing music, instead of things like shipping and fanfic. Or maybe just don't put those ones in the general 'polls' tag where anyone can see them? What do you think?

First I want to thank you for the repect to me that you've brought with this thought. It's why I think we can have an actual discussion on this topic. For any of you that aren't up for it, don't click below the cut.

This is honestly an interesting point. There is quite a large part of the ARMY tumblr space that is fanfic-focussed and I absolutely want to include everyone's interests in these polls. One thing I do want to make clear, is fic readers/writers are a huge part of the Fandom. And I would never consider trying to hide their interests from any general tags. I have always tagged those polls though so anyone not down, can easily block them.

The part of your ask that's interesting to me is the callout of explicit-ness. This has got to be my personal flavour of ace-aro-ness coming through as I genuinely didn't relate the reference of A/B/O to the same place in my brain as I do anything explicit. This specific question honestly came about because I noticed it as a theme whenever I do searches for gifs for this blog. I've never read a BTS fic on tumblr but boy the search results love to return the posts when I'm gif-hunting!

Anyway, I'm not involved enough in current fic communities enough to know, let alone a community built around real people rather than fictional stories but is there a consensus to keep anything above a G rating 'in the back'? Being able to openly classify the work is the main way people are able to make an informed decision if they'd like to engage further.

When it comes to level of risk with this specific topic, I genuinely feel that anyone wanting to avoid any such implications would be better served blocking the bts fic tags entirely.
