You flopped down onto the bed, panting and trembling as sweat dripped down your forehead. Thomas hovered over you, stroking at your back giving you a concerned whine.

“I might be limping tomorrow.” You lean up looking at him with a smile. He gives you another whine of concern.

“It was completely worth it.” You reassure him. Reaching up to gently pat his bare cheek. He sighed, and hugged you close to him, burying his face in your shoulders, before scooting down in bed, holding you in his arms. Reaching over to flick off the lamp, leaving you two in darkness. You nuzzled face against his.“I love you so much.” You sigh. “You’re so good to me. I love you more than anything in the whole world.”

Unable to say it back, he gently kisses you on the lips. He rests his forehead against yours, stroking your hair until you fall asleep, exhausted from the events of the evening. Thomas stared at your face in the darkness, thinking about how much he loved you, thinking about how it’s an absolute miracle you came to love him the way he loves you. Thinking about how he’d do anything for you. A smile crept across his face, giving you one last kiss on the forehead, before he rested his head atop of yours, drifting off to sleep.

How would the slashers react to an animalistic s/o? Maybe they are not the most talkative but their body language and behavior just says it all (like purring, whining, growling, snarling,...), just like other quirks (strong reactions to scents, marking their partner because they are territorial or a breeding kink due to hormones?). And maybe they seemingly get along with animals naturally... Do you know what I mean? If this is not your cup of tea I totally understand!
