You groaned to yourself and sorted through some of the old, kinda-sorta-a-little-bit musty books on one of your shelves to read, landing on one about fables. Might as well read up on fables. With twins on the way, knowing them by heart will make a lot of things much more fun and easy. Settling on the couch you heard a shout almost out of earshot, but just barely recognizable- Some dumb kid. Most likely being chased or trapped.

Jasons missions didn't bother you then, they don't bother you now. The screams got annoying at times, sure. Pleading and begging to be spared a fate that could have easily been avoided if they just stayed the Hell away. It isn't like you (and your husband) didn't put up MULTIPLE signs around the camp saying to stay out, it isn't-! Ugh.

With a slightly annoyed sigh you began reading your book, almost boredly, wondering in the back of your mind what you would make for dinne-

The door CRASHED in, you yelped, your book falling and you scrambling back. You assumed it'd be Jason- No. A tall, crazy-eyed woman with blood gushing from an arm wound met you. Shit. No. Not here. Out of all the cabins.

Her voice was hoarse. "THE HELL YOU LOOKIN AT- Wait why are- Are you-" She glanced at your stomach and..started to cry? Okay. Unexpected.

"Help- You can help, right? You're-"

A loud rush of heavy, angry footsteps thudded up to the door and you turned a page of your book, your eyes cold.

"Wrong cabin."

Before she could respond the blade of an axe cracked down into her skull, and you watched almost bored as she dropped onto the wood floor. That's gonna be a bitch to mop up.

Jason frantically kicked the body aside and rushed over to you; Putting his hands on your face, your belly, arms-

"Jason, they didn't touch me. I'm okay."

He jerked his head up and stared a moment before all the tension he had in his body left. You held up a hand to your forehead as he leaned his head on yours. He always forgot about his mask and before you learned to watch for that you got bonked a few times. Jason perked at that and leaned back a little, then rested his forehead on yours softly.

You reached up to kiss his mask where his mouth would be.

"Clean this up for me. I'll make pizza for dinner if you do it right away."
