Cassian groaned as he sensed another sneeze ready to hit him. Cauldron damned allergies and cauldron damned pollen. Why did Rhys have to send him to pick up Elain from her date thing with Lucien? Of course, when he thought about it, it made sense. Az was still a little heartbroken and Rhys was overwhelmed with work so Cassian was the only option left.

“ACHOO!”

His loud sneeze felt like it echoed between worlds and as he turned in search for Elain he jumped back at the sight he saw. There was a circular portal, almost like a mirror and a stunning female staring back at him in shock.

“What the fuck?” The two said it at the same time and gawked at eachother. The female had pointed ears half-covered by shining light blonde hair with a tiara sitting on her perfect head. Her eyes were turquoise with golden rings that stunned Cassian into silence. His eyes trailed down towards her body and the skin-tight green dress she wore.

His nose itching pulled him out of his trance and he grimaced as- “ACHOO!”

The portal disappeared and Cassian was left standing there like an idiot as he peered at the spot the female had once been.

“Cassian?” Elain’s honey sweet voice reached him and he shook his head slightly.

It must have been a hallucination. There was no other explanation! Unless… his sneezes could open? No! Improbable…
