“We shouldn’t,” Brennan whispered against your lips but doesn’t pull away.

Anger washed over you and decided to be the one to pull away, “what do you mean we shouldn’t? Is it because I’m a marked one?”

Brennans eyes widened at your response and tried to explain himself, “No ! That’s not it. It’s just-its just that I’m so much older than you.”

You found yourself rolling your eyes at Brennans explanation, “Brennan, you’re only seven years older than me,” you replied.

“Seven years is a lot,” Brennan tried to reach for you but you just swatted his hand away, “Y/n, please.”

“No” you poked his chest, “You do not get to tell me we can’t be together because I’m too young for you and try to comfort me at the same time. Let me know when you make up your mind because I’m sick of your mind games.” You leave before he has a chance to reply.
