Team “I imagined a scenario too hard and it upset me”
HC about the Avengers team adopting a dog?

Clint Barton was the one that brought the dog home. He isn’t the one that does most of the dog care, but for some reason (maybe related to the fact Clint keeps feeding it pizza) the dog favors him a lot.
Tony Stark isn’t happy about it. He has a no pets rule. You will occasionally find him sitting on the couch with a drink patting the dog absentmindedly though.
Steve Rogers tried to take the dog for a run one morning and ended up having to carry it. Now it jumps into his arms every time it sees him.
Bucky Barnes is totally smitten with the dog. He likes it when it sleeps at the end of the bed. It makes him sleep better for some reason. He starts considering if a therapy dog might be a good idea.

Sam Wilson loves the dog too. Actually, takes it on runs in the morning not carries around the park. Talks to it like it’s a person.
James Rhodes gets really bossy about when the dog can have treats and what it should be eating. Clint’s continued determination to feed it pizza all the time infuriates him.
Bruce Banner and Hulk both love the dog. When he’s Bruce he likes to sit reading with him sleeping on his legs. When he’s Hulk they play out on the grounds together.
Natasha Romanoff is more of a cat person but she loves having him around. Tony keeps telling her she can’t also have a cat.

Thor thinks the dog is great. Plays fetch with Mjölnir. The dog can actually lift it.
Wanda Maximoff loves how normal she feels having the dog around. She loves when it just follows her around weird places. She starts randomly asking Tony if she can have another pet too.
Pietro Maximoff does this thing where he’ll throw something for the dog and then runs and gets it before the dog so it’s like he never threw it.
Scott Lang will sometimes bring the giant ant around for play dates.

Peter Parker sneaks food under the table to it when Rhodey isn’t looking.
T’Challa side eyes the dog any time he’s around.
Loki is always shooing it away from him. Complains about dog hair on his clothes a lot.
Pepper Potts likes to have the dog around while she watches movies at the end of the day. Almost just because of the way Tony keeps giving it death glares, though he does love it too.

Maria Hill teaches the dog to do things like steal people’s shoes and howling along with Tony’s music.
Phil Coulson buys clothes for the dog and likes to take photos of it in them.
Vision just finds it a good study of human behavior having it around.
Nick Fury teaches the dog some really impressive commands but won’t tell anyone what the command words are.
