The thing(s) that made you start drawing?

I started drawing when I was 4/5-ish years old because my dad was an artist.

He mainly drew and painted characters from cartoons/animated media and video games, and that definitely influenced the things I wanted to draw too.

I’ve always been self taught, having to eyeball everything and/or use free resources in order to learn what I know, and I’m still actively learning a lot about the fundamentals of drawing!

I didn’t start drawing digitally until I got my first cheap $16-20 something dollar drawing tablet maybe 10 years ago, my learning curve has been challenging and slow but I hope to improve faster as I’m more easily able to grasp learning concepts nowadays.
